My first gen DXR10 is quiet as a mouse.
Are all the levels at zero with hiss still?

But on stereo out you don't have Kone technology and imprints, right?
Looks like you can, from the manual
• Use two cabinets equipped with KEMPER Kones as a mini PA, maybe for a spontaneous party. Feed your music into the Aux Input in stereo, as classic PROFILER models activate Monitor Stereo, use a stereo power amp into the cabinets. Only the guitar-speaker-like dispersion will make your cabinets sound different to a regular PA.
• The ultimate KEMPER Kone setup: Play guitar along to the stereo input using the speaker imprints, while the music plays full-range, through the same cabinets.

Your clarification is appreciated. Thanks Don.
I thought I’d read a few days ago that the Aux input played through the Kone in FR mode even if the Kone and imprint are selected. Think it was Ingolf
I can’t find the original post and wondered if anyone had anymore information on this? Purely for curiosities sake and the fact it’s blown my mind for 3 days:)
I tried it last night with a backing track and it was ace.
From the main manual page 98
A signal on the Aux Input fed to the MONITOR OUTPUT by using the “Aux In >Monitor” control will be processed by
the KEMPER Kone intelligence as well. It will always be processed in full-range mode, even if you play your Rigs in
Speaker Imprint mode (Monitor Cab Off active).
Has anyone tried Audacity? That's another free DAW.
Audacity started life as a conversion utility and has morphed over time to include recording and effects.

Display MoreHey,
I can measure tomorrow - although I do have lockdown with an 8 week old!? I should get half an hour to blast it.
Its way too loud to have anywhere near max and that’s without bridge mode. That’s my definition of loud though.
I do have the volume control. I also have a bit of an issue with the amp very occasional cutting out and coming back on - almost a replica of a quick turn in/off. Gonna troubleshoot tomorrow.
I need to get to the practice room! I’ve got a new - bass, guitar and cabinet to really test. I’m pretty sure it’ll be louder than 70db though.
Yeah it sounds to me like yours is doing what I expect mine to do volume wise. Good to hear. Thanks!
Yes, I think Carlos was his name, a guy with a white hat.
Awesome!
Btw - I have the Camplifier 290. UK.
Works great with the Kabinet, Im really enjoying playing. I'm even loving profiles through it that I previously discarded
How loud does it get? Mine can't get over about 70db/bedroom level. Does your 290 have a vol control? I'm in talk with Ritter to troubleshoot. Tilman's a great guy.
I'd try a Kemper Kabinet myself
Lol!
Kazoo tight!
Oh wait... that's bad right now...
I'd be very surprised if that wasn't ear splittingly loud. 2x12 will be 8ohms so that's perfect.
Display MoreHi guys,
new here. I’m considering buying the profiler stage.
I have a questions for those who can help me.
I can’t find the manual, only the quick start guide. Is it not out yet?
can I use the Kemper stage to send midi messages to control ableton live?
can you morph any parameter with an expression pedal?
Thanks

Welcome!
Cheers dmatthews - thought so ... I'm actually quite happy with the XiTone, but the Kone sounds very intriguing - weight being one thing, sound options the other ... fighting with my inner temptation currently
I caved... couldn't help it
Display MoreTo all Kabinet and Kone users:
Anyone going the fullrange route, instead of imprints?
Have you tested the "Sweetening" control at all?
Any impressions?
CK
I'd love to answer this but my Camplifier is out of service
Thx, then if I use a regular speaker jack , should I use the center rod ( orange on mine ) of the jack to PLUS kone wiring ?
and NOT the blue one ( outer rod of my speaker jack)
Is there a speaker in the cab already? If so wire the same. Typically, the tip is positive.
Display MoreHi dmatthews,
Have you received your Kone alread & tried in your Xitone MBritt cab already?
If so, how did it compare to the Celestion FTX1225?
Cheers,
Wolf
Hi Wolf. Yes I received the Kone yesterday, but I haven't tried it in the XiTone yet. I got a Kabinet in the same shipment so was playing with that. I'm not expecting good results with the XiTone afterall. I contacted Dayton amps and they say there's no way to combine the two outputs (bass and treble) into one output, so I think I'd be missing something in the end.
Because of that, the Kone may go into a 1x12 of my own making.
Hi I'm mounting my kone on a vintage cab
Stupid question : does the polarity on the kone matter , for a single Kone in a cab wiring ?
I'll use a pedal power amp.
Yup, there's always a positive and negative connection.
Ok, many thanks.
Do you know when an powered version will be available?
Has not been announced at all.
I can't even remember the original infraction.
