You're on Mac, so the obvious, cheapest, easiest-to-use app is... Garage Band.
My brother's a PC guy, but he bought a Mac laptop specifically so he could run GB as he reckons nothing else came close to its ease of use.
+1 on Garage Band as you already have it.
Just post this on the page...
It's genius!! I only wish I had thought of it! Haha.
For me personally, I find it's a lot like other gear like with tube amps or pedals.
You'll find profiles you like and use them for awhile until the 'new car smell' has gone and then you seek something else that is better or different sounding. It's a vicious cycle!!
Yes I got it and I think there is no cure now...LOL
No cure. Just ride the wave n enjoy! Haha.
I call it: The Kemper Effect.
I was like you. Saved up the first time around, the car broke down so I was back to square one. lol
Just make him split your guitar to another channel on the desk, and send that one unaltered to your in ears.
I agree. Monitors & FOH should never be on the same mix in the first place.
For monitoring, I run in ears in mix mode and run the rest of the band into one side and my guitar directly from Kemper monitor out to the other side of my in ears and it gives me full control of my guitar signal coming to my ears.
I am 53 years old and have been playing for 30 years, gigs, churches, bars, I have yet to meet a sound guy who fully understands guitar tone…
Same here.
I'm looking at possibly getting something from SKB cases. I don't have the rack version.
Additional information:
When you copy and paste a rig or an effect, the item stays in the paste buffer even after pasting and after the light goes off.
This way you can paste an item as often as you want.
Good to know, Thanks!
Je ne suis pas familier avec les RCF. Je viens tout juste d'investir dans un Alto TX 10 je suis impressioné jusqu'à date. Ils sont très léger à 15.26 lbs (6.92 kg).
I don't know of any profiles, personally. But the link below is from a guy showing how to pick his songs and he uses a Kemper so he'd probably be able to answer you.

I would think a floor unit would come out before a Kemper 2, if anything. The KPA can handle everything as they added new firmware updates with new delays, etc... Many have been waiting for reverbs too which will probably come in the form of a firmware update as well.
Before moving to in-ear I‘ve been using the Alto SXM 112. Its a wedge Monitor and I really liked the sound, better mids than many rival products.
For the most part I'll be going in-ear myself. Of course there's those certain gigs where that won't be possible, so I'll be using a wedge for those.
If I had no restrictions, I'd probably shell out for a CLR but that's out of my range. Haha. Thanks for the feedback!
Hey folks,
Due to back problems, I'm looking for a nice lightweight powered monitor for my Kemper - hopefully under 20-25 lbs. I have been looking at the ALTO ones. TX8, TX10, TS208 & TS210. Have any of you had experience with any of these? Comparaisons, etc...? I've seen a few threads on the TS ones but less on the TX series.
Thanks,
Marc.
Great to hear.
What I like is how simple it is for the sound guy...plug in...yep got a great signal...next...
I had a sound guy tell me that too.
I will have a look see. Thanks a bunch!
