your double neck has the open book headstock that Gibson sued over so that sounds about right.

to be honest - most do.

Starting think Guy (V8) is right and you need to speak to support in case there is something wrong with your speaker.

Are you using it on the ground with the Bass Boost activated? The bass boost is designed to compensate for the 3db loss in bass response when the cabinet is off the ground on a stand etc.

I just did a bit of great googly moogly and it looks like Gibson filed their Lawsuit in 1977 but it only covered the Gibson Open Book head stock design. They settled out of court and Ibanez changed the head stock design to the one on @Finally's guitar. That doesn't tie up with with Finally's time line though and the internet is full of misinformation so basically I don't know

andreio23 I'm not trying to be an arse but I am genuinely confused. What do you mean by update v upgrade?

Finally love that Ibanez ?
i thought my old 1984 was an old Ibanez but its just a baby ?
another great Japanese made instrument though. -
Personally, I think the whole dual-amp thing has more to do with getting feature parity with Helix and Fractal. "They both do it...and so should Kemper!!"i happen to agree about dual amps but that’s also just my personal opinion.
however, I have also said on numerous occasions that one of the things that impressed me so much about Kemper’s way of working is that rather than just saying we can do it lets go for it.They alway question what problem are we solving? What is the real benefit and who benefits from it? Will it really make things better or just add complexity and feature bloat.
there are many reasons to change or upgrade a piece of gear but “me too” was never a good business case for anything. -
BayouTexan Kulle_Wumpenteich I have an early 80’s Westone Thunder IIA which was my first proper guitar. Made in Japan and wonderfully made. In the mid 80’s when I was going through the whole Yngwie phase I made the mistake of butchering it by having the fretboard scalloped. I also had one pickup removed and the cavity filled. Respeayed Ferarri Red (I was going to have a ferarri badge added under the clearcoat but never got round to it). I stripped out all the active electronics and remover 2 of the 3 knobs.. I added new bridge pickup with just a single volume knob. I regret it immensely. Know the only knob on that guitar is me ?♂️
My main gig guitar for about 20years was an early 90’s Levinson Blade R4 made in Japan. Super high end guitar. A total Strat killer and better than any Fender I ever played. In fact I got rid of a Strat Ultra (I think that was the name -roller nut and Lace Sensor pickups) for the Blade and it was a major step up.

I haven’t really tried but obviously Alan’s secret sauce was his little Super Champ and magic fingers.
I’m not sure if Martin Waugh is on the forum or not but Martin os a tone monster and killer player who is a massive Alan Murphy fan (he has Alan’s famous GoWest white Aria). He recently switched from big Mesa rigs to a Kemper Stage. If anyone can nail the Alan Murphy sound its Martin. -
BayouTexan I have always been exclusively Mesa but Kemper mover me to Marshall. It is a thing of great power indeed.

No
Direct Out and Monitor Out could be configured but both are Unbalanced TS.

He's currently working on a hollow body Les-O-caster that sends a bluetooth signal direct to the audience's brains. They don't even have to turn up to the venue....
Awesome! I’ve been waiting for one of them for ages. Can it transmit different pickups to each ear ?

I was under the impression that owning and playing through a Suhr guitar was a requirement to own a kemper.
shit! Most of my day to day guitars are PRS. Should I have bought an AxeFx ?
-
Yeah, our drummer just kept on,........
I’ve played with lots of drummers like that. They are always missing the end of songs or thinking the entire set is big drum solo ?

Kemper have stayed many times over the years that they believe it is not logical or appropriate to show preset names once these have been loaded. They see presets as a starting point not a destination. The argument is that as soon as you tweak any parameter you no longer have the preset but a new sound. Basically, it is unlikely that this stance will change.

There's also a possibility that none of us has broached yet. Could Mr CK be working on another kind of device altogether? I mean we have the Kemper Amplifier, we have the Access Virus. Could it be some other kind of cutting edge device? Would not surprise me, to be honest.
I’ve always said that I can’t see CK being excited about redesigning the KPA for minor tweaks and upgrades. I don’t know him personally but everything I’ve ever seen about him leads me to believe he is excited by ground breaking challenges that are revolutionary rather than evolutionary.

JC MUSCLE SHOALS one of the fe guitars I ever played and regretted not actually buying was a lovely CS336. Beautiful instruments ?

I do TOTALLY feel like this feature needs to happen NOW. And even make it "TOGGABLE". Maybe an option that lets users choose whether they want the system to remember within the same performance.
Absolutely agree that IF this “feature” were to introduced it would NEED to be able to be toggled off as it would really screw up performance mode for a huge number of users (like myself).
Of course I can see some uses for it and understand why some people might like it so I’m not against the idea as long as it doesn’t stop us regular folks who wear tennis shoes or maybe the occasional python boot from being able to continue using performance mode as normal.
