Welcome and enjoy your 'Stage'!

Either Tempo is enabled in the Rig in one mode and disabled in the Rig in the other mode, or Tempo is locked in one mode and not in the other, or Performance Tempo is enabled. Or you pressed a TAP button accidentally in between.
Found the problem....Rig tempo was enable but with different values. Thanks for the advise.....and thanks to you too @Wheresthedug

I'll definitely check all these options. Ta.

Each Rig has a Tempo page in Rig Settings. On that page ...
.... you can enable Tempo to follow TAP
.... you can lock Tempo globally for each mode, Browser Mode and Performance Mode seperately
.... you can additionally lock Tempo by Perfornmance in Performance Mode.
Read the chapter "Tempo" int he Main Manuals , which explains all the mechanics in detail.
Thanks @Burkhard...will definitely give it another read....just trying to understand the delay time issue.

Thanks mate, much appreciated!

Checked in RM and the tempo box unchecked. Same thing in my KPR Stage. Any other suggestion?

If you are using Rig Manager look on the right hand side where the 5 Performance Rig slots are listed. At the top of that section there is the ability to Name the performance. Below that you can set a tempo key etc.
On the KPA itself in performance mode look at the screen and you will see the first soft key light is titled edit. If you press this you can enable performance tempo and select a tempo. You can have rigs apply their own tempo or have all rigs follow the performance regardles of their own default tempo
Thanks Alan, will check today after work.

Do you have a tempo set in you Performances? If so the delays etc will conform to the performance’s tempo.
Do you have tempo enabled in the Rig Settings? If no tempo in performance (or if working in Browser Mode) the rig tempo will prevail if sync to tempo is enabled. Not sure where to set the temp in Performances?
Tempo disabled in Rig Settings

Hi all,
found this rig ‘Friedman BE SS’ by MBritt in RM and really like the delay. I keep a copy in my ‘Local library’ folder ready to be used, but here’s the weird thing.
If I copy it to any of my performances the delay time changes. Deleting the existing delay and then copy it to the performance doesn’t solve it either.
I’ve also tried the lock feature to see if it makes a difference but no luck.
The only thing that seems to work is if I start with a new Performance. What am I missing?

Congrats....and welcome!

I'm interest too. I've update my MacBook Pro but haven't tried RM as I use my iMac (not compatible with Big Sur) for my music.

Three dots to you, mate!

If it's in a format Rig Manager doesn't handle, yes. I'm not up with its format limitations, so... hang on... I'll check my old Cab Maker manual...
OK, it confirms what I wrote from memory earlier to be 100% correct. Here's the paragraph:
CabMaker requires the impulse response file to be wave files (.wav format), sampled at 44.1kHz and either 16 or 24 bits deep. Other file formats are not supported. The utility takes approximately the first 1.5 sec- onds into account; since impulse responses are typically very short, this should prove more than enough. You can literally take any type of signal and turn it into a cabinet; in most cases, this is unlikely to result in a very usable cabinet, but feel free to experiment! Please note, however, that any signal which is not a proper impulse response will lead to an unpredictable result which might be anything from simply boring to downright unpleasant.
So, assuming Rig Manager and the Kemper OS haven't expanded the file-format and / or SR options, and I've seen no indication that they have, the issue is likely to be the SR of your files and / or the fact that they aren't in WAV format. Audacity can help you on both fronts - SR or format conversion.
You're a legend mate! I've tried Audacity and it seems to export in WAV format (will try and experiment properly tomorrow). Thanks hips for taking the time and dig out all info....very much appreciated!
Beer's on me if and when you come up to Brissie.

If you need to convert the sample rate or file format, try Audacity.
It's cross-platform (Mac & PC) and it's free. It celebrated 20 years in May and 100 million downloads in October:
Audacity ® | Free, open source, cross-platform audio software for multi-track recording and editing.
That's a good one...so, taking an IR and convert it?

Thanks mate...I'll try to find a way (maybe there's a converter?). No biggie. The CAB loaded is a WAV so for now I'm good.

Hi @Monkey_Man,
no good. I've followed your instructions but nothing happen. Can't import them. I've also tried with CabMaker...same result. Must be as you suggested "Only 16 or 24 bit, 44.1KHz audio files will work IIRC."
I can import WAV though.
