New tune, Until the end
Hi there, i wrote this tonight, its probably more riffs and lead parts than i would normally do in one track.
Thanks, it's the STL Tones Jason Suecof pack, Plain Burger A profile (Peavey 6505, EVH 5153 V30 cab)
Ah, brilliant, i'll need to try those out. I've got the Angel Vivaldi and the ambient packs from STL, they are brlliant too
Nice to get into your synth self.
Is your brother a musician? I try to explain to my friends what I do but they don't have a clue. LOL.
Thanks BayouTexan , he's actually a very good drummer, so not a real musician 😂
That's a great and unexpected direction to go in, different and cool Franjoe30 !
Thanks Per i was showing my brother the toontrack plugins and put a verse, pre-chorus and chorus down to show him how easy it was to use. I added the rest once he'd left 😂
Display MoreA soft pop acoustic mix . I worked on 3 goals. 1 - create the best clean acoustic tone I can. 2 - create a bass with a good mid-range growl but with good lows. 3 - create a soft drum beat with a wet snare and a low kick that is not overpowering.
I tried to mimic a rotary speaker effect on guitar using the tremolo and air chorus effects. The rotary effect itself was too fast for this mix. I think the bass is overpowering in some parts and was tricky to level out over the mix. I may have it about 0.5db too high in volume. I hope when I set the bass traps in the studio I can be more accurate with this. The drums took me forever trying to get a good soft beat while trying to keep it from being thin and spongy. I think the snare may be too wet though.
Critiques welcomed.
Merry Christmas All!

Don't know how i missed this BayouTexan Love the vibe of the track espeically the strummed guitar leading into the picked arpeggiated parts. The mix sounds totally cohesive, brilliant

Brilliant tune pikman Love all the shred parts too.
Display MoreHi Guys,
A quick video testing "Bogner 101B" Profiles, specifically the Red Channel of the amp. The profiles are created by "Leandre Gomes," a little expensive compared to others but worth it I think. The track played in the video is "Skinned" by Michel Wagner, focusing on the first chorus.
Hope you enjoy it.

johnboy10 this is fab, your lead playing and feel are brilliant
Display MoreI have loved Larry Carlton since I first heard him play back in the early 80s. I love both his clean tones as well as his OD sounds.
Here's a bit of pop/soul using both his clean and OD sounds with the usual and obvious inspirational sources.
I hope you will find it interesting!

Oustanding 60's british pop Per this takes me back to happy memories of my dad listening to this genre when was a kid. Brilliant solo too, love the fuzz tone then the clean part
New tune, Bazza
My brother came over today so i was showing him how easy it was to write and record a tune from scratch using the various Toontrack plug-ins and of course my trusty Kemper. This was allot of fun.
The uptune on the riff makes me think of a chase/escapism movie. Nice riff under the solo!
Thanks BayouTexan
I be bass trappin' today! Also got some of my heroes up and a few more decorations. The studio will be getting 2 more acoustic side panels (blank area on adjacent walls) and 2 overhead clouds. The double doors to the amp/vocal room will get some diffusers on them.
Looking great BayouTexan
New tune, Forever after
Hi there, i wrote this tonight using a top jimi brown sound profile. I used a Digitech freqout into the front of the kemper over the bridge
Merry Christmas to you too @Franjoe ! That's an awesome pedal, really cool glitch effects that sound great on your track here, almost liquidy.
Thanks Per its been allot of fun. Happy new year my friend
...and a Happy New Year, Joe!
I got a new pedalboard power supply, bass traps for studio, and some posters to hang in it. The backordered G&L tele I was supposed to get for Xmas last year finally got shipped the other day so it should be here next week.
Happy new year BayouTexan

New tune, Slice & Dice
Merry Christmas all. I got a Boss SL-2 slicer pedal for Christmas and it sounds fab with the Kemper. I wrote this tonight using it. Lots and lots of fin to be had with it
