Normally these types of discussions get pretty heated, but feel free to cast your vote...

Nice to see the KPA slightly in front (as of right now)

Answer: Whichever one you damn well want.

Yep, agreed.... and I've owned both. Both solid units. Nice to seen the KPA ahead though....!
It seems Nicolas Rivera is not liking the results till now
Yeah, it's kinda boring, the ever- repeating either- or scenario.

I totally agree but... In the same time, as an early KPA user, I remember all the bashing stuff from the competition so... I voted!
I guess what I really find boring is not the request for comparative opinions in itself, even tho a newcomer should search a forum before asking basic questions. What I can't stand at all is the defensive attitude some put up, by which you have to throw mud onto what you have not chosen.
Repugnation
I can't post at TGP so I can't vote, which I guess is a blessing in disguise because it's another 'unnecessary' thread.
For me TGP has been like a University, I got my GEAR knowledge degree at TGP.
What I learned over at TGP between 2002 and 2011 was like studying at University.
I can walk into any music store in SA today and I know more about the gear they have in stock than the manager or any of the guys that work there.
I can identify Fender models (no Gibson distributor in SA so no Gibsons in music stores) by just looking at them from 5 yards away, the guys in the store can't believe it...why, because of what I learned over at TGP.
I still pop into TGP to read the Guitar section and Pub section ...lot's of interesting discussions in those two places...occasionally I check out the Digital modelling section.
The funny thing is, I only knew about this thread here on our forum because I saw a link to it over at TGP, otherwise I would never have known it existed.
There are so many Youtube vids/demos on both the Axe and KPA that any person still needing advice on which to buy by reading a TGP discussion has a serious problem.
Watch the vids and make your own choice...ignore the polls.
If they would have included a HD500 - that one would be the winner.
Most people vote for the stuff they own.
I have owned "The Big Three" - guess which one is left over

My plan is to get an Axe FX (for the effects and tweaking abilities it has) and put my KPA in the loop for the tones. Best of both worlds but I'm sure I'll be a list or two somewhere as a crack pot lol. Buy whatever you like gang just keep playing!
I just don´t see the use in those kind of polls. You either like the KPA, or the Axe. Or you like both, or neither. It´s not like one of the units is objectively better.

It works for me, wouldn't have it any other way!
If you're interested this is how I did it:
Axe2/Kemper
(Axe 2- 4CM Template/Preset # 382 or 383)
1- Guitar into the Axe2 front INSTR input
2- Axe2 output 2 (L) into the the front Kemper input
3- Kemper Main output (L&R) into the Axe2 FX Return (input 2)
(Kemper balanced XLR out, TRS Axe2 FX Return)
4- Axe2 output 1 (L&R Balanced) into the Duet
Additional info:
I/O Settings
Input Menu: Input 2 is set very low, I use 2.7%
Audio Menu:
Main Input Source- Analog (In 1)
Input 1 Left Select- FRONT
Input 1 Mode- LEFT
Input 2 Mode- STEREO
Output 1 Mode- STEREO
Output 2 Mode- L+R SUM

+1
Got the big BOSS-stuff, the most fat Line6-boards, two VOX-boards, a KPA and an AXE-FX.
Only the KPA and the Axe survived, can't live without one of it. Imo the rest is B-league-stuff (for studio-/recording-conditions).
Anyway +1000 for paults: Let the music do the talking!
By the way: Several times till now I decide not to take part in such discussions no more - but somehow I can't escape myself ...

LOL - thanks!
I am a Kemper owner but the axe looks good also.
