The Majesty's insane, Frank.
Mate, if I ever come to Germany, you've gotta let me play it!
I'll supply the earplugs.
When ever you want Nicky. You are welcome!

... until I play that dreaded first note, hence my promise to supply the earplugs, Frank.
Hey, as the TOTO song says, "you supply the brew, matey, I'll supply the poo"...
Hang on... D'Oh!
EDIT: At least I had the rhythm right; the syllable-count is perfect...
@Vaughnfats
Very stirring and touching story!
In this point of view the best instrument you can get. A generous client ... awesome!
Question to the parts of the guitar:
Are the frames and other black part original? Or were they removed?
Kulle_Wumpenteich
The black trim has been there since I first met the guitar. I can't say what may have been on it from the factory, but none of us remember anything but the black rings and the lack 'o guard. My experience with Gibson is that out of the norm combinations, from trim colors to machines to top figuring, are not uncommon. I have a '93 Standard hangin' round my neck at this very moment that left the factory with gold hardware and a set of Grovers on it. Rumor is that 100 or less went out that way... Who knows for sure, I certainly don't. It just adds more mystery to the Gibson mystique... If the '77 were actually mine? Yeah, I'd probably replace all the trim with the cream stuff. The Wine Red looks beautiful that way!
G&L Legacy Special with mighty blade buckers and the fantastic Dual-Fulcrum vibrato.
Finally I understand why they call G&L the "better Fender"

A Beauty! But it's so heavy, isn't it?

It's quite heavy, yes. But since I'm even heavier and being used to Gibson Les Paul (without weight relief) ... it's fine.

Well well, i play excusively on maple necks, laquered or not, i prefer non-laquered necks, anyway this is one of the best sounding guitars
i have ever played.

The green one. I have a hobby creating bastard strats. Only the white is an original (am fender). All the others are bits and pieces.
The green one looks great, The original as well.
I love the way the scratch plate (3rd from right) compliments the headstock and fretboard on that one, Kim.
Beautiful, tasteful and classy, mate!
I like the one at the right with black matching headstock!
Very Metal

Thx Mike, after one week I can say this is def my guitar. The feel is awesome and the dynamic and variation of sounds is much more that i have expected. Okay, the design is not everybodys darling but for me it looks like a ferrari. The pics didnt give back what the satin glacial frost white colour looks like. Here it is in action
Cheers
