Crazy freak but a genius!

What kind of music are you listening to right now?

I was hoping Dave Sanborn was gonna let it rip with his awesome screams and altissimo wailings, something that IMHO would've fitted the song perfectly.
Funny how he uses them in practically every song of his, and yet when there's a golden opportunity just beggin' for 'em, he let it slip by with some jazzy noodles that would've mostly passed over the audience's head.
Just MHO, but I'm willing to bet I'm on-the-money here. If he'd gone that way it would've helped take the band's performance OTT or to the "next level".

I don't usually like Kanye, but this song is gold. Featuring Jamie Foxx. It's literally the funniest lyrics I've heard in a long time. Heavily censored.

After 18 years he finds out it's not his.
Gold, AJ.

Usually I am not too much in instrumentals. But I love every note of this one... rock starts at 1:30 after two of my absolute heroes chit chatted around the microphone... and Tony Levin on Bass

Oh damn the sound, the tidy arrangement, the groove, the ease ... madness ... I get wet ...
What would I give to be able to take part for only just five minutes!
However, I would have to warm up for three days before in order to keep the groove at least.
Still, it would be a dream.

Jan Hammer.
Eddie was on fire!

Can Kemper sound even more "woody" and natural? Yes it can, just use proper guitar.

The guitarist guy is flawless in every way; technique, melodies, feeling. I also like the sound and mixing of the song, each instrument plays a nice role. Yes, the song is a genre cliché, nothing new under the sun but at the same time I can appreciate if something is simply good
.
Oh, and the Telly shape is my eternal love.

I've listened to all their stuff and they sound like a heavy version of Toto in many ways, to my ears at least. That's almost always a good thing IMHO. Very, very good band, man.
Yup, Simone Mularoni's the cream of the crop IMHO... flawless, as you say, brother.

Very, very good band, man.
And I like the fun those guys had in the video. Especially the singer reflected it so well. Always good to see people enjoying themselves when they present their music. Maybe not the same in all genres but here it is quite charming

You always get me with twin-guitar leads a la Wishbone Ash. But this is really great.

Same here. Thin Lizzy and many more in my ears as well.
In this case here: Did they sample / record the Kemper profiling process in the very beginning of the song? Sounds like it around ~0:12-0:17. Very creative idea

I'm into horns these days , and this one got my attention.
It's a live take with very dry audio , but it's really good to see some seasoned musicians grooving together on a funky track :
