The other example I had accidentally moved the ducking knob. It caused some weird issues.

Fixed it and did a quick intro riff idea with post mastering plugins

This one sounds more-pleasant on its own, Ant (IMHO), but in a mix, I'm betting that example 1 will cut it (see what I did there?) better.

I took this into account when I said what I said earlier. The track in the example song would've sounded more-edgy and a bit-hairier when soloed, which is one reason I reckon you got remarkably-close even 'though some might've thought, "But hang on, yours seems a tiny-bit brighter...". It was brighter in the perfect way for it to come across as sounding the same as the example in a mix context, IMHO.

Thanks man. This is from 2018 so I have no idea off of the top of my head. Right now I do not have access to my Kemper but when I do , I'll fire it up to see if I still have it saved on there.
