Use of headphone output

Hey all,

Just looking for a simple answer to a simple question,

I’m planning on buying the non powered head

In regards to the headphone output is it as simple as taking my kemper out of the box plugging into power then plugging my headphones in and i willhear it through headphones immediately or is there other things involved. (i.e using a pc as mine is currently broken)

Yes, it's that simple

The Kemper has a fantastic headphone amp that lots of people find better than their audio interfaces or even standalone headphone amps.

Well, you may want to also plug in a guitar It is that simple.

I don't remember which volume is the headphone linked to by default (it's in the manual I'm sure). If you cannot hear anything just crank the master volume and rig volume until you do.

I found that you need good, full range headphones, buds, IEM's or it sounds like poo. Scared the crap out of me when I first got it.

I think the kemper sounds awesome through headphones. I use sennheiser hd 6xx. I run the xlr outs to an Allen and heath qu16 and headphone output from that is also excellent, but if I’m just playing guitar by myself I usually use the output from the kemper.
