Hi everybody, the Boss Ds-2 turbo distortion has been around for many years and I'd love to have this pedal included in the toaster!
I'm especially fond of mode II for solos (mode I is pretty much the same as Ds-1).
Thank you!

You can use the Kemper Drive to get what you want. With that and the Kemper Fuzz being so versatile, they’re liable to be very selective with what they add.
I don’t think the Kemper Drive will sound anything close to mode 2 of the Turbo Distortion. No matter how you twist the Kemper Drive, it’s still an overdrive, not a distortion.
I think the Metal DS stomp can get you there. Throw in a fuzz or booster in front of it and crank up the compression on the amp module.
Or just buy that pedal if nothing comes close enough. Case closed.
I tried the Metal DS stomp, but to me the sound is a not close enough, and the Kemper drive as stated is very different from that particular type of mid range distortion
Hi! I have a DS-2 pedal. I couldn't get the same tone into the Kemper. Maybe you somehow managed to get such a tone? And another question: can I connect the pedal to the Kemper?

yes. You can either put it between the guitar and input or put it in the FX loop. There is a specific loop type for distortion so I would start with that.

thank you! everything turned out to be very simple!
