no it does not transfer MIDI. USB is only used for transferring data between the Profiler and a USB stick or between the Profiler and the Rig Manager software.
The only other application is to connect a USB keyboard which makes typing of names and tags easier.

-
my reply was to your sentence:
Turning a knob on the Kemper did not write to the automation lane.
I should have added that recording pedal movements can be done. -
With one of the recent firmware updates, I think they fixed it so that the Kemper transmits the CC data. You just need to record enable that in your DAW and it will write it down.
true but that is just for the pedals not for the knobs on the Profiler.
-
the knobs on the Profiler do not transmit any midi data.
To control morphing from Cubase you need to send CC #11 to the Profilers MIDI input. USB MIDI is not supported by the Profiler. You need to use the standard MIDI ins and outs. -

Have you already tried to adjust the contrast on the back of the Remote?
-
simply select the next slot using the rig buttons on the right side of the front panel and load a rig with the browse knob.
-
-
if you already have a version that is at least 1.8.2 or newer installed on your Profiler you can update to the latest version directly. Only Profilers that are running a version that is OLDER than 1.8.2 need to update to 1.8.2 first.

You did. I want to „morph“ a stomp on the second layer on the remote, meaning toggle stomps on / off when going to the 2nd rig level on the remote.
you can achieve this by morphing the mix parameter as someone already mentioned

please check if you are getting a clean signal when you connect your guitar to the return and/or alternative input.
Chances are that your mp3 player is clipping the inputstage of the Profiler if the signal is too hot.
If you get distorted sound with your guitar too please open a support ticket. -
the Profiler has no way to tell the difference between your guitar signal and the one coming from your DAW. It just processes whatever signal is coming it.
Please check the routings in DAW. -
when you get the processed sound from the front input it means that all the settings in your Profiler are correct.
What happens when you plug your guitar into the return input while return input reamping is selected? -
sorry but i have no answer for this question.

you can send the same program change number for every slot but you can also send no program change at all for slots that should use the same preset in your ATG system that was already selected by the first slot.
