Having owned and tried to get cozy with modeling amps before (Axe FX) I was not expecting to be blown away with the KPA in a live situation. I got my KPA second-hand last week and had just been playing through headphones. After playing a gig with it tonight I can't understand why everyone isn't use these things! My only other amp is a Carr Rambler, and it took me a long time to settle on one tube amp, but I seriously doubt I'll be lugging it out to gigs now that I have this lunchbox amp that sounds so awesome even going direct into a mediocre PA... Keep up the good work, Kemper!
Holy sh*t

Oh I even had to play bass for a few songs so I just switched it to a clean /13 profile, and the sound man said it was some of the best bass amp tone he'd ever heard

Welcome and enjoy!

I know right.

It's the 'game changer', the best piece of guitar gear ever invented....not because of what it does, but because of how it sounds.
Someone prove me wrong.

I have never thought that i could find out something "definitive".
Indeed all my gear has always had a pretty short life (10 months o r something like that) in my hands. The KPA stands in my gear since february 2012, and i think that it's the best piece of gear i have ever purchased.

Good buy. Well done! Glad you like it.

I agree with you!
In my KPA I have some 4 thousand tubes and no one to be changed... -
I am going to profile my bass gigging rigs this week (TC & MarkBass). If they turn out great, I will post them on the exchange.

+1
Did my first live show with the KPA rack last weekend. Absolutely superb sound out front. Stereo delay pinging about all over the place Sound guy loved the KPA. Controlled by an FCB1010 with the EurekaProm and arranged the set into Performances. No hiccups all night.
On stage I used a powered Alto TS112A as a wedge. Bags of volume and more than enough for me in a small venue. I think I had the Alto on about 1/3 max volume.
It's such a brilliant solution, light, transportable, flexable. I'd buy one..... oh I did!...

I've been surprised at how little people use these live too.
