I thought a few of the metal ones were killer, medium gain sounded great ... Clean didnt grab me as much
Def will pick it up for the heavier stuff

I'm greatly looking forward to the Uber Pack, and would love to hear more details on the actual signal chains / cabs / mic pres involved. Once the .PDF's are sitting in my Dropbox, it's going to be a hold-the-phone moment reading all the liner notes...
But first, if I may say something regarding the pre-orders because nobody else has said this...
1) Pre-orders are often a way of crowd-sourcing the funding for a product that hasn't been built yet. But in this case, the work as been done, so... maybe, just maybe, it's a way of locking in some sales before idiots start pirating the Packs on Day 2. Good for MW, if so. Given the large build-up towards anything related to this project, I hope it results in a steady revenue stream for WireWorld and not merely a big burst followed by a sales trickle. MW's pre-release pricing is the carrot that helps takes the sting out of the risk of buying an untried product - and if it's a success, we'll probably seeing more Packs down the line. Skeptics can hold off and pay a bit more later for the privilege of being a skeptic - but really, how much risk are we actually talking about? Michael's reputation is on the line and assuming that you like his tones in general (if not, why are you reading this?) if you can't get good results with these I suspect the problem is probably not with the Profiles.
2) If I was Michael Wagener I wouldn't be wasting my time selling profiles a-la-carte, at least not until the bloom is fully off the rose. Anyone complaining about this should immediately cancel their cable TV subscription because you can't unbundle ESPN and HBO either. I doubt that WireWorld has much downtime; every hour spent making profiles is an hour -not- spent producing bands, so do the math. The whole project is probably a loss leader by WireWorld standards (but hopefully, a generator of goodwill.)
3) My suspicion involving the actual hold-up in getting both the Free and Commercial packs out was the lack of copy protection, and that a firmware rev to support it was holding the whole thing up. Good thing I'm not in charge of Product Planning, because I would have done this long ago.

Hi!
What power amps were used to profile the MTS modules?
Thanks!
Paco -

Yeah, it's a good thing you are not. Copy protection of whatever built into Kemper would make me sell it immediately. I have enough of ilock and other BS copy protection crap running around my comp. Can't wait for the pack!

We used the Randall RT 2/50 power amps. I like those because of the different output tubes, 6L6 and EL34, give you a bunch more options for sound. The cabinets for the MTS sessions were the 1990 Wizard 4X12 with 25W Greenbacks and the EVH 5150III 4X12 with the EVH/Celestion 20W.[Blocked Image: https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t1.0-9/10606063_10204032601562598_2169668858505561093_n.jpg]
