"as you get older, like me, your frequency range reduces..."
What?? David looks like he's about 25, tops. It's all relative I guess...

Well, most folks are down to around 16-17kHz by the time they reach 18...

Wow - I had no idea! (Maybe someone told me and I didn't hear them LOL.)

Tilman/ Gitarrenschlumpf - I totally understand if you'd rather not, but would you be willing to share the part number or any other information concerning the broadband 12" speaker you're using in your kit? I've already got a little 1x12 cabinet but I'm not thrilled with the stock speaker, and based on David's video I'm considering the pros and cons of replacing it with a traditionally voiced speaker (e.g. Celestion Greenback) and disabling the KPA speaker sims, vs. running a broadband speaker like yours and leaving the speaker sims engaged. Thanks!

Hi Tilman,
This sounds just what I need, i.e. for my Powerhead with 2 of your 1x12" GFR/FRFR cabs - brilliant!
For the kit which "empty cabs" do you recommend - your own cabs (Kemper green tolex - hmm ...) or the Palmer's as discussed above?
Cheers,
Wolf -
Hi TheWolf2103,
the KIT discussed here has been designed by Marco from BlueAmps for that Palmer cabinet.
We choose that cabinet because :- it is well built
- looks good
- is not to heavy
- widely availableThe KIT also comes with a venting plate an a mounting plate which will fit into that specific Palmer cab only.

... there you go Tilman,
you tempted me so much, I now have a Palmer 1x12 empty cab on its wayNow, I'm waiting for the arrival of the KIT

I got a little confused by that recent video. He mentions that he's using one of the Camplifier power amp modules, I think. Do you need a power amp to use the Camper 112 Plus? Or am I good with an unpowered Kemper?
-
Yes, you need a poweramp of any persuasion.
C112+ is a speaker kit deal. You need a cab to put it in and a poweramp to drive it. -
Hi guys,
the first batch of C+ kits will be available in the store next week.
The requests for this kit are really overwhelming and I am afraid the first batch will be sold out in minutes.
Some of you wrote here that they have ordered the Palmer cabinet already.
From what I read these guys are :- Muddy Fox
- Controll
- TheWolf2103
- GregGibbsI plan to reserve first batch units for you guys.
(Please don`t be mad at me if I missed your post here in the wide fields of this forum).
The "problem" is, that some of you kind of reserved the kit here in the forum and many of you did sent an email with a reservation request to me already.
It is hard for me to match the forum personas to the mail names though. Please , if you are very much interested in buying this kit :
Send me an email which only needs to say : "reserve one C+ for me please" to : [email protected]
That does not mean you "have" to order it though. It is just a reservation which will help to plan some of the material needed from next week on.
The first batch will be delivered next week.
When this one is out, the next one will ship end of last week February or first week March.Sorry for the hassle....

How many are in a batch. 5? 10?
If they are already sold out then you guys didn't get enough of them.
Love the idea and concept of it and am very interested but it sounds like it will be a supply and demand issue.
Keep up the great work but please keep up some stock as well.

Woot!
