Kemper team being the singer and guitarist in a band sometimes things get a little hectic and you just need to have a little glance at your foot pedal. With performance mode at the moment the slot has a name, and under the performance name is a black line which displays the rig name. I request for the name of the slot to show up in the black line instead of having to change the rig name. For example if my 1st slot says intro, the rig can be left being called JCM800, but instead of JCM800 being shown in the black line it could say intro. Which for me would be more meaningful at a gig instead of what rig I'm using.

SLOT NAME or RIG NAME displayed in the Black Bar below the Performance name. -
+1.
On a busy stage, I usually have to go by remembering the position of the slot, not the name.
In fact I'd rather have the slot name instead of the performance name as the BIG letters as I never change a performance in a song. -
Yes, makes sense. +1.

This should actually be part of the concept of "performance": to focus on the song and not on profiles (let's leave them to when browsing the pool).

Another "hell yes" to this feature request.

agreed, makes sense. that in combination with the proposed "setlist" mode would
make organising, remembering and recalling stuff a breeze. +1 -

I haven't jumped over to the performance mode side yet and have a few questions:
Once a performance is named and rigs assigned to it, if you have other external equipment (midi PC) to that song can you store that midi PC to that performance and if you reorganize the performances will that PC stay with that performance?
I have only used browse mode with midi PC for each rig and use "unrealbook" to organize the set lists and presets with all the gear so that a song has all its rigs assigned a midi PC and would like to use performance mode in this way?
thanks

With performance mode, the midi PC numbers assigned to each slot and each performance is fixed, so this would get very complicated if you were sending messages to external gear on the same channel as the Kemper.
However, if you send the midi PC messages on a separate channel, it should be possible to organise your performances quite easily. It will require different programming from your current browser-based switching, since you will have to decide what PC messages to send to the Kemper and to the external gear on a rig by rig basis.

+1 for definite clarity !!
