Completely ridiculous and decadent to gild a Porsche. Only total idiots make this or extremely expensive prostitutes.
It feels for me absolut embarrassing.

Just had to go find a gold trim........FULLY gold car didn't ya.
Thats what nightmares are made of. -
ESP Roope Latvala... not quite my latest but better late than never!
Upgraded to tungsten trem block, red "heavy" springs and solid brass spring claw, also added Goldo Back Box Trem stopper....usually I would just replace with kahler but I didn't want to molest this one since its pretty rare guitar (and $$$)
Pulled the passive EMG (why?) and have Morin-modded SD custom in there now.

Ewrath2 - Erik, I tried emailing you at your Yahoo... we chatted in the past. Did it go through by any chance? What is the Morin modded Duncan Custom? What exactly Does Mike Morin do to it? I'm interested in one maybe.... hmmmm

Oh yeah! I kinda ditched that yahoo email - to much junk to pick thru. basically Mike get's an early SD Custom, and I think changes the magnets (or something) I can't quite be sure, but they sound KILLER. As you know, he's very particular about it. He might be willing to do one and mail it to you - worth a shot!
-
PS - I profiled my Morin Modded Marshall - search "Morin" and it should come up.
PPS The cab profile is very good with other high gain profiles, I've found. -

Thanks Erik! I'll inquire about what he does to them and if I can get one done. -

It's a pity - it's also not my guitar

From the look of the woods and the colors they're offering these are sick guitars. I'f like to have a 7 string of them so much..

Yeah I know but they are too pricey I think though I never really calculated my dream guitar of them..

It's a great head - enjoy!

My latest sixstringer might be the exact opposite if the one MentaL posted. It's a '59 neck and a 60's body. It looks like a coke-head with some sandpaper and a butter-knife did some real damage to it in the 70's. The neck is still in great shape still, and it plays and sounds amazing. I call her my "rescue dog". She's had a hard life, but she's getting a lot of love now.
The week I bought her, I was in a used car lot and found the broken car emblem that says "rough". I still can't figure out what car it broke off of, but it fit in the unused middle pickup position perfectly.

I'm sure we could beat that with any number of threads titled: "Show me your..." haha. But way-to-go Armin!
Oh, my latest guitar. I didn't take a picture, so I'll do stock since it literally looks the same. But got this yesterday:

[Blocked Image: https://reverb-res.cloudinary.com/image/upload/s--jv_Tv1H1--/a_exif,c_limit,f_auto,fl_progressive,g_south,h_620,q_auto:eco,w_620/v1461616396/xhzuzoow9egqkzy173hg.jpg]My impressions are: low action, stays in tune, smaller guitar than I expected (I own a Taylor 510, this seems about 2/3 the size), good construction but no-frills. I like the ease of reaching the battery compartment. Haven't listened to the electronics yet, but playing it acoustically sounds exactly authentic to what you'd expect (i.e. Hotel California, etc) Overall, not cheap, but for this type of quality, very inexpensive. I've not seen one less than $1000 for a 12-String that didn't have that typical high-action, tuning problems, ALL being right-handed (I never see lefties for sale used.)
Kudos to Taylor for being so left-handed in their offerings and reasonably priced for their quality. And Kudo's to GearNuts who actually sell something they have in stock. The last 3 guitars I went to buy on Reverb ended up apologizing for not having the actual gear after buying it and refunding me. So they advertise and don't take it down after selling them in-store. Frustrating!

Let's be clear about this. This isn't a "guitar". This is a WEAPON!
