Is there a mailing list or thread I can subscribe to for firmware notifications? I really don't enjoy checking for the 4.x firmware on an almost daily basis. It makes the wait seem quiet a bit longer. Thanks,

Yeah, so they should show up if you use the "Unread Posts" option, which I'm sure a lot of us do.

A quick look at the Main Forum Page is all it takes - if there is a new post in that category, the category title will be Bold, and you'll see a "1" or greater.

The good news is that there's no imperative to keep your unit "absolutely up to date".
It'll continue to function perfectly in the absence of these things. Usually the only things you'll miss out on are new features, and if you're following the forum at all you'll hear about them.

After reading those responses and thinking about it, none of those options are that great. I guess it would be really nice to just get an email that says, "hey dumbass update your kemper!" or alert me when I start rig manager. Unless that's already a feature.

That may be true for stable final releases but if you are a beta user and are waiting for the next version with some sorted out bugs it would really be cool to get notified. I'm ending up checking the forum and update page several times a day since I'm waiting for an update.

That's one fu*@ing cool site. Wasn't aware of IFTTT and I love it. Nonetheless I'd also love to see another way to get notified of updates. But did I mention that I love IFTTT?

Would you kindly post a reply, here, with a brief explanation/tutorial describing how to implement this feature. I installed the IFTTT app on my Samsung (Android) Galaxy phone, but I am a bit perplexed as to how to "program" the IFTTT app to monitor the "Announcements from Kemper" RSS channel, recognize there has been a new post, and then generate a push notification / alert to my phone.
