Strange request but I would like to be able to bake in Stack and other EQ adjustments.
The main benefit of this would be to free up EQ slots for other effects.

+1. I was going to post basically the same request last week and then forgot.
We know that part of the profiling process involves taking an impulse response. Once you've got that, I believe the math involved to EQ the response is fairly simple - in fact, I re-rendered a couple of impulse responses with EQ in my DAW the other day prior to running them through CabMaker and it worked exactly like I expected.
I'd like to see a process like so:
1. Hold the Cabinet button.
2. One of the soft buttons at the top of the screen says "Render EQ", or something to that effect.
3. You then have the option to select the EQ section, slot X, slot MOD, or any combination of the three.
4. Press OK.
5. KPA gives you the usual save screen - replace the existing cab, save as a new cab, etc, rename it, blah blah blah.
6. KPA thinks for a few seconds.
7. Whatever slots you had selected are reset to neutral, and the cab block is replaced with your newly-EQed cab.
Among other things, it would make tonematching really easy. Throw a Studio EQ in both X and MOD, tweak them as close as you can, render them to the cab block, then just repeat the process until you get close enough.
Loka, I like this!
Merging a profile with its own EQ? Count me in.
I know this isn't exactly what the original request was about, but including Studio EQ in the Cab section would be most useful, at least I think so. Then you could tweak it on the fly, if necessary. And you could save different Cab+EQ combinations to the Cab presets.
I think that the whole EQ section should be enpowered.
- More tone stack options (frequency for each band at least, plus the tone stack library with tone stacks modelled from original amps);
- Studio eq in the cab section (which is related to the thread);
- Different studio eq for Main and Monitor out.
So, a big plus on this, plus an up for other (old) requests.
If the amp profile uses some similar pre distortion eq treatment, this would be great to add stomp block eqs into it. I often use 1 - 2 stomp eqs to really dial in the distortion i want from a profile - if i were to use a 2nd kpa to profile my kpa profile with the stomp eqs, id get a new profile that sounds like what i want without using stomp blocks.

KPA Polizei hier!
@Lokasenna, @viabcroce, @citizengain please like the first post, like I liked. This is great request!
Danke schon

+1
and +1 on the original idea
I've asked for an additional Studio EQ in the stack section before a long time ago (along with other folks) but your idea of some sort of "baking in" feature sounds better and would accomplish exactly what I want.
Sometimes you get a good profile except that one little frequency that you don't realize is bugging you until 2 weeks later - it seems a shame to have to use the X slot just for that... and sometimes the rotary eq controls are simply too broad to fix the problem.
So +1 on this one!
Very good idea!
