Program Delay to turn on/off on remote

You can assign Delay to a Effect button, as you would any other effect.
Assign a Delay and a Pure Boost - or a neutral EQ - as a booster post STACK (watch the OUTPUT LED) and you got what you want.

apart from @DonPetersen 's suggestion this will also be achievalble by morphing.
Morph state 1: delay mix 0%, booster volume 0
Morph state 2: delay mix x%, booster volume x
(X = your desired increase of delay mix and boost)

this also let's you fine tune the gain and tone of the lead/solo sound, among other things.
