Hi all,
I sold my power rack last year to get a jvm410hjs and missed it ever since.....but now I have a new power rack arriving Thursday!
Can't wait to try all the new features and delays.

Welcome back, Lash!
Do you find the JVM noisy? Just curious. My brother's a died-in-the-wool 410H fan, and has always said he'd never need another amp. That was until he heard my Kemper. He's been putting off buying one and selling his JVM for 2 years now 'cause "it costs so much". I wish he'd just sell the JVM so he can make the swap and be done with it, for his sake.
You're lucky to have both, man. You gonna Profile it?
I had the jvm410h a few years back and it was noisy on od2. I now have the jvm 410hjs joe satriani edition. I like both but the satriani just feels and sounds better to me.
O yes I plan on profiling the heck out of it. I have a marshall 1960BV 412 with g12 vintage speakers to go with it...
But I only have an EV cobalt 9 microphone to profile with. And it will be my first time profiling. I will do my best and load them to rig exchange / manager.
Whoa... that's sick, man! Rehearsals / jamming must be a blast.

Yeah, that's why I asked. The only decent Profile pack I know of neglects OD2 in all colours, except in the "Direct" category, but I've managed to get the maker to agree to add OD2 at some point. It's sorely-needed, especially as he's gone through 6 different cabs for the pack, and... it'll not be noisy like on the actual amp!

Interesting; I'll tell my brother.

Dude, right speakers, wrong mic... IMHO. Call me old-fashioned, but I reckon an SM57 is the bee's knees on this amp (and most, really), especially for the price. I tried a 1" Neumann condenser and a beta '57 on my brother's JVM (same 1960 cab as you) once, and the result seriously lacked mojo, no matter how I combined or separated them.
Just sayin' man. If you want the Profiles to stick in the long run, I highly recommend a '57.
Personally I can't wait. We can never have too much JVM on the Exchange IMHO; there's not much there right now. If you like Mesa, you'd be a pig in gravy on the Exchange, but JVM? Not so much...
Welcome back.
Congrats on the return!
Welcome back!
The 410 is a great amp - I used to own it for some years as well.
Yes, that amp is noise - but has a lot of gain - the profiler could hardly profile channel 3/4 with gain maxed.
Welcome back to the gang
