In my studio I use 2 kempers one is a Toaster and one is a rack. They are both running the same firmware. The issue is the rack one always louder than the toaster one. Even using the same profile. What I do is guitar into front of toaster then direct out of toaster into front of rack kemper. Same profile selected on both kempers but rack one is louder than toaster. Any one have an idea why please????
2 kemper issue???

Check the Clean Sense setting on the toaster, Raoul. Clean Sens determines the DI-out level when Git Studio is selected in the output-settings menu.
If CS isn't set to "0" on both units, try that and see what happens.

Checked that, both units have the same CS and DS settings this has been bugging me for a while now

Is the Direct Out set to Git Analog?
-
Hmm...
Is the DI out of the toaster set to "Git Analog" to ensure that the level leaving the unit is the same as the geetar?
Also, if you unplug the axe from the toaster and switch to the rack is the apparent volume still-different whilst playing?
EDIT:
Great minds! Ingolf posted before I hit "submit".

Could it be something in the output settings? Or perhaps volume in the amp or cabinet section? Also, check whether the volume pedals have been locked at different values.

Are you using the same outputs? XLR is hotter (+4) than TRS.
Have you tried backing up the complete Kemper one and restoring that backup on Kemper two?

Both kempers are connected from Main outs via TRS leads to my interface. I’ve not tried backing up one kemper and restoring the other with that backup. That’s a good idea

Could one of the units' main-volume pot be offset differently?
Unlinking all levels in the Output Menu and turning the main-out pot all the way up and down should clear this if indeed it's even-possible; just thinking out 'loud at this point...

Maybe it has to do with something in your interface.
If you swap the inputs, is the same Kemper still louder than the other?
