Hi Jay,
welcome to the family and a lot of fun with the stage.
There are a lot of profile sellers and I think you have to test it yourself who is the best in your opinion .
I think you can find good infos in the section "Commercial rigs and profiles"
Hi, Jay Shade,
Welcome and congratulations.
Before spending money on paid-for commercial rigs, do a search in Rig Exchange using Rig Manager.
Here are some resources for you.
Kemper Manuals and Quick Start guides
Rig Manager Download and Documentation
Cheers!

Welcome, have fun here in the forum and with your Kemper! I guess some of the most profiled amps in the world are the ones from Mr. Friedman. Really see them a lot and some profiles are awesome. I am using MBritt's free one of Steve Stevens (see his blog on the website) and naturally Bert Meulendijk's BE100 pack

Try out a few from RE first.
... and start with the free Rig Packs built into Rig Manager first IMHO. The hit : miss ratio of good to bad Rigs is much higher than on the Rig Exchange. I'd go so far as to suggest that you may even get by using these packs alone 'cause not only are they from some of the most-respected Profilers out there, but the Rigs are hand-picked by Kemper.
Welcome to the club, mate, and congrats!
Welcome to the forum!
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and advise. I have found the rig manager and the Rig Exchange. WOW! That's a lot of profiles! I am looking for some great Friedman profiles. Minimal to no effects. I'm a plug straight into the head kinda guy. I am liking some of the Engle rigs too!
Minimal to no effects.
Easy solution for browsing this way, Jay:
Disable the stomp / effect slots and lock them "off".
From the manual:
Use the lock function to prevent a section or a module from being changed when you switch Rigs. To lock or unlock individual modules, press their respective buttons while holding the LOCK button. Essentially, you can think of a locked module as being "global".
Locked modules and sections are indicated by a small lock icon on the home screen. To get an overview of the lock status of all modules, press and hold LOCK - all locked modules will be lit, while those that are unlocked will remain unlit.
I bought many Profiles and the only ones left on my Kemper are:
1. Bert Meulendijk
2. MBritt
3. Lars Lüttge Mesas for the heavy stuff
For the Friedman BE 100 i like Berts Pack the most
How many rigs/profiles can you keep loaded on a Kemper stage? Im guessing the more that are on there the more memory it eating up. What's the limit to download before it effects performance?
You're welcome, Jay.
The official limit is 999 Rigs. However, bear in mind that if you've imported many IR's and FX Presets, these will eat into that free memory as well.
To be safe and also in the interest of keeping abreast of your collection, I'd recommend keeping as few Rigs as possible on the unit and using Rig Manager as your means of accessing, sorting and auditioning Rigs, Presets and Cabinets.
Hi Jay,
I am happy with Bert Meulendijks
- Clean pack (HB an SC P90)
- Friedman BE 100
(pay profiles - but not expensive)
