Hello everyone,
Sorry if this has already been covered numerous times but try as I might I can't seem to find a thread with an issue similar* to mine.
I'm new to my Kemper Profiler powered head (admittedly) but I cannot for the life of me get a profile to work. I just have oodles of (loud) dry guitar signal running through my speakers.
Anyone else had this problem? The unit is second hand, but if I play using headphones I can hear some lovely grinding tones just fine.
TL;DR: Only getting clean guitar signal through my speakers, no profiles no matter how much I scroll.
Thanks
Nothing but Dry Signal

Welcome to the forum! Check your Output settings. You should be running Master Stereo or Master Mono.
-
Thanks Zappledan. This is the conundrum. Other friends of mine who have the Kemper responded similarly and when I’ve confirmed that’s the case they’ve told me to come here!
-
for clarity. I mean, that’s exactly what I’m running in the output section
-
How is your output connected?
-
As below. Please do excuse the intense newbie response.
Monitor output into power amplifier or... as it came to me.
-
In output menu you should gave the choice of what signal you send to each output. It sounds as though you have main outputs set to Master Stereo (or Mono) but have the Monitor Output set to Git. Make sure tuat the Monitor Output is set to Master Mono
-
Based on the above, This is what I currently have.
and no sound at all now! -
Try changing Direct Output so that it's no longer Monitor Stereo.
-
So I’ve got sound! The master volume doesn’t work, but I’m getting some real glory! Thank you
-
If you check the Monitor Output link checkbox I think you'll be able to use the Master volume.
-
I would also change the Main Output to either Master Stereo or Master Mono.

Thanks guys! I will try again tomorrow
