I just bought one of those !
I just bought one of those !
a good choice.....an excellent pedal...
.... and nice profiles too !
Those Friedman pedals are mini amps in boxes - just add an IR and you're "at the races"
thank you,Friedman drives are awesome
I played around with profiling my Dirty Shirley pedal a bit. I found the profiles sounded pretty good when used going direct and getting a little volumen on them. I was not a fan when going into my DAW. They were too dark. I played around with adjusting the definition on them for recording purposes but found that profiles I have of the actual amp were much better for this. I would say that I have had a little success with profiling the pedals that I have tested with. I have most of the Friedman pedals.
Thanks for sharing mate!

Could you please share the results of your profile? I would be very interested!

It is possible to pull the cab out of a profile. So you may not want to post paid-for profiles or IRs. But this was done here for science so it should be ok maybe
I am assuming the IR was not free of course.

I have been pretty tied up with work and haven't been able to spend much time with my Kemper. If I get a chance I will share some of the profiles I created. I created them as direct profiles so I can use different IRs with them.

Of course you're absolutely right, the IRs were of course purchased by me and I hope it's ok if I use and share them
Postie has been - added my new BE-OD to my drive drawer - which is as near as I'll get to a rack of Friedmans !
The profiles you've made are way less noisy than than the actual pedal. Which is nice.
The IR profiles are pretty badass and very useable. I almost deleted the Zip after trying the ST ones (I don't use DI's yet). Glad I never. Thanks!
Today. I've experimented. And the finding are that there's few if any of my drive pedals that don't sound ok with an IR and no amp. The Boss Blues Driver BD-2 is particularly good.
