kemper problem with cutting in and out

My Kemper has started cutting in and out while Im playing. Its not but a mili second and its sounds kind of like a dirty pot would sound like or like changing a channel on the old radios with knobs. I mean its very quick but noticeable.

Any help would be appreciated.

What is your setup? Are you talking about a studio environment or live? Are you using SPDIF or XLR outputs? Does it also happen with headphones?

set up for live (mono) using XLR and it only happens when I am soloing and hold a one note. I just checked head phone and its still there

I've been playing one the phones for a bit and the quick cut out is not so much here, Man the tone and effects sound so much better in the phones? I can really hear the chorus and delays!!!

What level do you have the input noise gate set at?

Are you using another noise gate in the stomp or fx sections? It could be the signal tipping over the gate threshold.

The chorus and delays sound better in the phones simply because they are stereo.

Noise gate at 3.1, no other noise gate. I turned the noise gate off and then turned it up more and it sounded the same. I am not clipping.

The sound I am getting is the sound you would get if you held a note down, picked it and then tapped the string between the neck and bridge pick up with your finger. Its Very strange?

I just noticed it gets worse the longer I play. So maybe it is something internal?

Do all profiles behave the same way?

Maybe uploading a recording of the issue would help.

All the high gain distorted profiles do it, but for some reason it has stopped. Whats the best way to record it when it starts again? I run the kemper through a qsc touch mix and to the mains. I don't have a home studio or anything.

Obviously you have checked all leads, tried another guitar etc?

You could just record it with any recording device e.g. your phone, just so we can hear it.

If you backup and do a restore then that should rule out software...sounds like a hardware issue to me...

I think, you need to simplify the set up and narrow in.

Any pedals and switches connected? Disconnect the cables at the PEDAL sockets.

Any other equipment looped in? Switch off the loop.

Test with another guitar and cables.

Wireless transmitter involved? Try with cable.

Are all inputs impacted? At Head and Rack models try the other input (ALTERNATIVE IN instead of Front INPUT or vice verse with Input Source set accordingly)

Are all outputs impacted? Or is it just the SPEAKER OUT of PowerHead/PowerRack showing the issue? 4 ohm load connected? Perhaps you are hitting the power limiter at 600 watts?

All Rigs , Browser Mode and Performance Mode...?

To be honest ... if I would be using a wireless transmitter it would always be my first choice to check experiencing such an issue.
