Why can't I tap quarter notes? That makes no sense to me. Does the tap function also work with other delays other than tap delay?
Don't undertand tap delay

1/16
2/16 = eigth note
3/16 = dotted eigth note
4/16 = quarter note
5/16
6/16 = dotted quarter note
7/16 = double dotted quarter note
8/16 = half note -

No, unfortunately not, and why that is I cannot grasp at all.
The tap function should be available for all types of delay.

Oh - I see! It's not my day today. Didn't get enough sleep.
Thanks. -

Please refer to the manual.
If the other delays were available for Tap, they were a Tap Delay. The Tap thing or milliseconds is the only difference between the delays. -

I (secretly) hope there will be other delays, e.g. reverse, that also will have tap for controlling. -

The Tap thing or milliseconds is the only difference between the delays.I thought the analog delay does the pitch shift thing when changing times and the others don't. Also, isn't the tap really a stereo 2 tap delay in which you can create syncopated patterns with the first repeat feeding into the second? Can you do that with the other delays?
Agreed.
I (secretly) hope there will be other delays, e.g. reverse, that also will have tap for controlling.I think I read they will be adding a "pedal" delay for the stomp effects at some point. Perhaps that's where we'll see some reverse capability.

Well, to make my expectations a bit more clear:
I'm still clinging a bit to Line 6’s paradigm of different delays that do different things well (Tape delay, Reverse delay, Ping Pong Delay etc.) and which are all controllable by tap.
I understand that the KPA's analog delay is different to the tap delay which resembles a digital delay plus modulation plus filter, but why not expose tap controllability in all different delay types?
