Sorry, the controller will come Q4 or later.

but I'm sure it will be great when its release, just needing it really badly Mr CK.

Oh...o.k. Now i´ve to figure out something to controll the KPA without spending a fortune.

I borrowed a friends FCB1010 but I've seen them for sale cheap on eBay. Great little controller I don't use it to its full effect though

Is there an add-on available to take it to the beach
I think a friend of mine has got one. I will try it. Thanks Raoul. -
Any other Kemper news from the Musikmesse besides the KFC in Q4?
Did they talk about other features (Performance Mode, new FX or the infamous "tone stack library")?

Which software do you mean?
Will be watching this vid as soon as I get home if it works on a standard FCB ill be really happy
Does anyone know if the FCB firmware/software is to be (a) released by Kemper - (b) by Behringer or (c) by the UNO chip guys? I am a bit confused.

I know, (but I'm not allowed to say due to NDA).
The idea that Behringer should be involved with this is quite amusing... -

That is exactly why they are working on a KPA-ready version of FW for the UNO chip. Just plug the cable, not settings necessary.
Sorry but that's impossible. Everybody's use needs are different. I might want 10 presets while someone else 5 presets and 5 stomps, however there are 8 engagable effect slots. 1 person might want A,B,C,D, X to toggle while someone else A,B, MOD, Delay, Reverb. I might want my footswtiches to control volume and reverb mix, someone else wah and amp gain. Do you want to bypass the input or keep the delay tail? Even when the dedicated controller comes out, there will have to be programming to get the most out of a foot controller.

One hopefully NDA-safe question:
Is spending more for a used FCB with UNO chip already in it, a worse idea than buying a used stock FCB? ( notice how I'm not asking for a specific reason?

Apparently the awards just keep raining in at the Messe for KPA.

the performance mode will come after the musikmesse as firmware
the will be an firmwareupdate to the behringer fcb1010: This firmware turns your Footcontroller for the kemper. No programming required! The firmware offers an optimized user experience for the KPA, No fiddling - just upgrade, plug and play!
Check out the details at http://www.kemper-fcb.com

i watched them at the musikmesse with the performance mode and the FCB1010 and it works great (exp. pedal, stomps, etc)the kemperteam already said: in there own kemper footswitch there will be no expression and volumepedal integrated, also 12 controlls (taster)
sorry for my englishi hope i could help

12 Switches?
4 Rigs - 4 Effects - 2 Bank up/down - 1 Looper - 1 Tuner
Maybe? -
12 Switches?
4 Rigs - 4 Effects - 2 Bank up/down - 1 Looper - 1 Tuner
Maybe? Not sure that would be as versatile as my FCB1010 w/UNO I guess we'll have to see. 2 way communication would sure be awesome though

It may be a good idea to get an FCB then?
-
It may be a good idea to get an FCB then?I think it's a good idea anyway. They're cheap, hackable and at the least a good backup for whatever else you're using.

To sum up what I heard today at the Messe:
Xavier, the guy who makes the UnO chip, is working on an eprom specifically for the KPA.
This eprom will enable the FCB
- for a special learn mode
- 2 way communication ( i.e. switching an FX on the KPA will reflected on the FCB)
- tuner LEDs will be visible on FCB display.
