Hi there.
After updating my KPA to 1.7.0 my rigs (way less than 1000) have disappeared.
Tried to restore, still no rigs. Restoring factory rigs works fine.
Am I just too stoopid?
Thankful for any suggestions

Did you do a backup
shure raoul, I did do a backup
but backing up doesn't restore the rigs, thats the point

That's strange I did a system reset the other day and used my back up to restore my rigs which worked a treat. Maybe someone more technical can chime in and help
Maybe you have lost some snapshots which weren't actually saved as rigs?
Also the snapshot are saved in the backup file, it seems more a KPA problem, did you unpack the backup at least to check if you really saved your rigs?

...could also be a USB drive issue.

Please open a support ticket and attach your backup, so we can investigate on that. If the backup is still there, it might be just a small issue to fix.

Thanks folks but I got it solved myself.
After reinstalling fw 1.6.1 I could reimport my rigs and after updating to 1.7.0 everything was just fine
So thanks anyway
Hi I'm quite new to the forum.
Stupidly I updated my kemper to version1.70 without erasing rigs (I had 1067).
At the end of the installation process I got an error stating that no more rigs could be saved/or added due to insufficient memory.
BUT all my rigs are still there and my current version is now 1.70.
Is there still an error, or did everything work?
Were there any new coming with the firmware update?
Thanks for your help
I don't remember new rigs with 1.7, but you want to be below 1000 rigs as soon as possible - the 1.8 software has many new FX, and It includes new rigs to demonstrate some of the new FX capabilities.
v1.8 has been in Public Beta for awhile. It will likely be generally released soon.
And, with the FCB-Kemper early demonstration video showing Performance Mode, that version of software may be released soon, too.
+1. You didn't miss anything, Georg80. Just make sure you get rid of some rigs, soon, to stay well below 1000.
Welcome to the forum BTW.
