Be kind, did this last night at 11:45, should have been going to sleep not playing guitar.
A friend made the backing track, it's a jam on another forum, I just messed around over a little section.
Others will record their little parts and he'll mix it into a much longer version.
We've done this before, nothing came close to the Kemper recorded tone.
I used Erik's Legacy Profile, added the harmonizer (3rds) for the first part, then switched off the harmonizer for the second section....used some mahogany and humbuckers.
Thing I love about the Legacy is it's THICK, has a nice fat distortion, you need to add presence not remove it, I like that.
Keep in mind, I'm a sh*te guitarist, when I record I press record and go for it, what comes out is it, I dont know how to punch in or tweak in Cool Edit, etc, and I use the $5 soundcard in my PC....no fancy gear here.
