there is a small lag, i can't quantify this precisely, it might be a couple of hours. we intentionally don't have a refresh button but if you quit Rig Manager and open it again, it will check for new arrivals.
-
True, but if you don't follow the procedure consistently, things can get lost.
which is true for many things when it comes to copy/paste -
Rig Manager does not need to be started in compatibility mode
-
my point is: if you install software and you don't read the documentation which you can see before you download and install, don't blame the people who wrote the documentation for you. i'm not "pushy" here. i just disagree with you. i don't think we have forced you to do anything. we only have informed you that a newer software version is available.
you did no mistake at all, most of our users use our recent software offerings.

I just don't understand why should I be forced to upgrade to a beta OS in order to keep using Rig Manager to manage my rigs (Rig Manager is necessary to manage rigs and profiles)
the only person who's forcing you to do something is you. don't change the system if you don't like to. and if you change it, make sure you _read_ the documentation before you do so. if you update rig manager or the profiler operating system, chances are that you have to update the other part as well. it says so on the website in the download section. -
this is far to off topic

there were a hand full of people who had to leave the forum because it was just getting out of hand. and believe me, we have no joy booting people off. at the same time, we will not sit down and define more rules, what would it help? do you think people stopping to misbehave because there are rules for penalties? so, skorczy - we will not follow your request and define what doesn't need to be defined. just read the netiquette and think before you post. nobody wants you off the board if you think that could happen anytime soon.
and especially for you heavy weight posters: maybe think twice. some people have to dig through all that noise. thank you!

sadly, it seems irrelevant when a moderator requests you to post on topic. this thread is closed and if this behavior continues, we'll send out warnings. five warnings and you're out, gentlemen.

I'm no programmer, but how is it in the NAMM demo morphing seemed to work flawlessly and yet it is not ready to release 2 months later? Is the platform on their demo rig somehow different than what we consumers have?
tradeshows are great to collect impressions and ideas. when we present something new and we have the chance to take in what our users at the show think, we will happily do so. and as a result we can refine things before we release them. that's the beauty and also the curse of software. virtually nothing is set in stone anymore. -
But as a customer at Kemper, I´m also struggeling with with the lack of information. Is there a need to held the customer disinformed about the progress on V4.0?
It wouldn´t decrease the reputation if such information where provided...
i'm not sure what information is missing but maybe it is just an official confirmation that it won't be february 2016. so here's the deal: we are late, we are working on it. we want to deliver something polished and stable and we don't feel that rushing it out just for the sake of meeting this virtual deadline would be beneficial for the most of us. i can't tell you when 4.0 is coming but since all features are implemented, it won't take forever.
hope that helps, gs -
unless musicians learn that it is not advisable to bit the hand that feeds you, there will be (hard) copy protections. i mean, look at how well West has just out done himself
-
every time I set up a stomp,, the next day I go to it and its the BIT CRUSHER instead, I set it to green scream, next day,, its back to the bit crusher,,,, driving me nuts,, anyone else?
please contact support by email -
it doesn't matter in the end. if someone gives a Rig the lowest rating it means that he's not happy with it.
-
some can really dislike rigs that other may like. this is why all notes should appear, from stupid bashing to the ones who like it. and the overall grade is representative. then maybe a rating should only be seen if nb votes >10
it is like in itunes. if you like something, rate it in between on (a bit) and 5 (love it). if you don't like a rig, ignore it. -
When I test a Rig and open the Page of RE I am loosing my activation for the Forum. (I used same user datas)
? please elaborate -
to many off topic posts, folks. if you're interested in discussion future software releases, open a new thread and stay on topic please.

you must be a privileged man having so much time to dispose

thanks. I see what you mean. This is either another revision of the manual or something did not get updated when you've installed the last update. in any case, we'll have a look.

So what is the amp name in 8th line?
maybe you'll find out once you use a different pdf reader.
