I try your profiles more thoroughly next week and give more feedback then. Thanks for answer and profiles mate.

If you´re interested in preamp profiles, do a search in the Rig Exchange for my user name r.u.sirius. I uploaded some of my Chandler, Universal Audio, Mindprint preamps a while ago, all with the prefix PRE_...
Thanks. Would be nice to have some more subtle vocal presets too. Everything in middle/0-position with UA etc. Then it would be easier to tune with KPA:s eq, compressor , reverbs and so on. Just preamps own sound without too much distortion or EQing. If you got time, i would highly appreciate it...

Hi,
It would be cool to have couple of mic preamps for vocals with Kemper, so i posted few profiles on rig exchange:
1) Konnekt 24D. Nice audio interface.
2) Behringer Ultragain pro. Cheap mic pre. These are kind of shitty, so don't be too hard on your critic
With these profiles i just want to agitate others to put profiles for vocals in rig exchange. I'm sure many have better mic preamps than myself...Put levels etc. according your mic. If you want to use return input, just put loop on.

Will, last night I gave the matchbox reverb a try and was able to emulate a fairly convincing spring reverb with mix 45%, delay/reverb at 0%, reverb time 1.7, damp 1.5 and predelay 50ms. I really don't think that without a dedicated unit or a very sophisticated algorithm (and thus DSP intensive) we're going to get much better than that.
That does not sound spring reverb to my ears, not even close. It does not have that spring reverb "zing". Even Line6 HD -series have nice spring reverb, so it shouldn't be that hard to bring one in Kemper.
Also spring reverb is basic reverb in many classic Fenders etc... -

Don't want to divert from the OP question but can you use your EVM12L with the cab sim on?
I don't like EVM's with cab sim on (too bassy and fuzzy), but of course you can try it. Never really tried to tune these speakers with cab sims anyway, just fast test...
Sorry for off topic.

You don't really need DI -profiles for that. Just use monitor out with cabs off and firmware 1.10 or newer. Works very well at least with Matrix GT800FX or other neutral poweramp. I have 2X12 cab with EVM12L speakers that works with many different profiles, but don't expect Fender profile to sound correct thru V30 cab etc.

I have couple of Acoustimax preamp profiles on rig exchange . Feel free to try them...
-
I'd settle for something as good as a blackface sound, 65 Deluxe reverb or Super Reverb, the list goes on .
Just give me that long spring sound instead of this boingie thing.+1

First one is much better, more open and "amp like"...

Actually, we have a reseller in Finland too:
Custom-Sounds (http://customshop.fi/) in Helsinki. They ship around the globe too. -
I made 2 profiles with BBE Acoustimax. I played with Martin HD-28 (with b-band pickups) so i don't know how it sounds with other guitars. You're welcome to try 'em anyway; find them in rig exchange.

Thanks! I will try these ASAP.

Hi,
BBE is adjusted for my Martin HD-28 with B-Band A2.2 pickup and i don't know how it sounds with another acoustic guitars. Try it anyway...
Bluetone deluxe reverb profiles are made with Rivera Rockcrusher and are basically DI -profiles. I use Peter Fischers cab when recording or playing thru monitors at home.
When playing live I use DR profiles thru Matrix GT800FX and 2x12 EVM12L cabinet. You can find 'em at rig exchange under my author name TUNA.

ok......thanks to everyone for the partecipation.
@ CKemper: I thought about that and it is in no way an issue since, as I mentioned in the opening, even the Morley has it as a feature.
it is anyway a minimal lag which is totally ok.
all I wanted to make sure, and now I did, is that there were no differences in plugging the expression pedal into the pedalboard or into the Kemper expression pedal jacks.
of course, for live use, I prefere to plug the pedals in the pedalboard so that fewer cables cross the stage: just the guitar and the midi cable...........
thumbs up for the wah quality and the features around it.
I'm especially in love with the mix feature which allow me to use the wah in various manners. with traditional wah pedals it is impossible to have it but as a full sound effect. instead, I was always looking to add just a wah flavour to some solos........now I can............
michael
Did you tune kempers wah settings or just use factory presets (crybaby etc.)? If tuned, your settings would be appreciated. Put 'em here man

I knew that, but somehow missed "Bypass @ Stop" function. Got to try that one out... Thanks for the tip!
-
I didn't know you can do this with kemper:
2) the on/off function can be programmed. I'm using on/off at stopping moving my feet: absolutely fantastic!
Stupid question, but what Kemper wah on/off function i should choose to use it like that?
