Interesting request, as I've done this in the past with my Rig Kontrol. In Kemper, for multiple efx activated at once, I use a slot as you've described except I don't experience any lag time in switching. I'm left to wonder why the difference? (on the flip side.. I'd love to be able to switch multi-efx with one button on the pedal board.)

Ingolf, Thanks for the info. What I can't seem to find is a way to actually change a profiles settings in Performance mode. For instance, I have a profile and in slot 1 I want to the profile with Reverb and X on; slot 2 Rev, X, Mod, Delay and Slot 3 Efx 1, 2 & 3. I don't see a way to make those adjustments while in Performance mode; I have to go to Browse mode and create 3 different variations of the profile.. I've read both manuals but can't find any reference to editing profiles in performance mode.

IS there a way to easily switch to editing a rig/profile in Performance mode? That's without switching back and forth between Performance and Browser modes.. Seems I'm scrolling around a lot in Browser mode to get to, and modify my rigs, tweak them and then back to Performance mode. And then it seems I'm having to reload the profile , i.e. change the profile to something else and then back to my modded profile...

Still looking but can't seem to find a way to just pull up the profile and mod the settings while in Performance mode.

Thanks guys! Yep.. still browsing and building performance rigs.. Yep, I had the wrong cables, was using a TRS to dual mono breakout. Once I switched to TRS - TRS, happy happy.

Looking forward to beginning the profiling process in the near future. Until then.. well there's just so many monster tones and so little time!

I've been using this feature in the beta 2.1.1 but can only get it to go up the rigs; I can't get it to go in reverse order down. What am I missing?

I'm using a Roland FS-6 pedal. I've tried it both with 2 mono pedals unsuccessfully and configured with a stereo 1/4" (TRS) assigned to the two pedals, again with no success. It's great to have this feature as it allows me to browse all of the rigs as opposed to the UNO4Kemper FCB1010 which only allows browsing rigs that have been assigned one of the 128 midi program numbers. Both have their pluses though..

    Any help is appreciated.

No sure how many rigs you're using in that 3 minutes! You have to assign them in both performance mode and browse mode. I've found that using a foot switch attached to the back of the Kemper is better for browsing, I can see all of the rigs, not just the ones assigned to midi program numbers as in the U4K 1010. But one thing that I haven't figured out is how to browse in reverse order.. I can only get it to go one way i.e X+1, not X-1. Does someone know how to get it to do that?

Been done along with the U4K, ordered the same day and integrated. It's also the root cause of my midi programming hell.. you still have to assign midi numbers to rigs in browser mode and program all the rigs into slots in performance mode. Pushing a bunch of buttons through menus are just slow and time consuming. Software integration and UI is where it's at.. No different than plug in's and DAW's.. the USB or RJ45 port could be invaluable to real integration in the studio and rig management.
    ..

Kemper is a great sounding amp but it's very limited in software user interfacing features; maybe this is what he's really asking for? Honestly, I've only had this unit for a week and have fallen in love with its audio reproduction capabilities but I despise its lack of integration with the end user. I spend hours on end doing the simplest of tasks that could be automated and streamlined; we all have experienced it and display it through the forum. Honestly, I don't have time to sit around remapping my midi assignments one by one, each having 15 steps to complete one map... that's crazy! Maybe it might make sense if they provided other forms of interfacing such as output files that allowed third party integration or possibly exposed the file system for direct integration?? Man, I'd be happy just getting the data into XML spreadsheets for manipulation and loading; anything to save time.

All said, rants over... I am amazed at the sound of this thing! I love the way it responds to my guitars and playing style and will continue to grow with it.. besides, if I weren't pushing a button on this thing, I'd be pushing a button on something else in my rack.

So, I'm searching for ways to edit these profiles/rigs, effects, et. all. Is there anything in this area that can help? it'd just make sense to have a means to interconnect with the computer, say maybe by the RJ45 in the back over a network or the USB..?? It'd make editing the Performances and Browsing way better and more studio integrated.

Anything you've got out there now, I'd love to know about.

Loving the Kemper for its amazingly accurate profiling... would just love for it have more integration into the work environment.
