Changes are always going to have to be made regardless if you are in a pro setting or not. Different venues have different acoustics so even minor changes may have to be made. I agree, get a decibel meter and you can get them close. Allow the FOH to conduct minor changes when needed. Also, if it is not to much of a pain have them make notes on where the spikes are so you can further adjust them after the gig.

Manchild, my master volume works perfectly also. However, I finally understand how the link setting interact with the master volume control. It is actually pretty cool to be ale to control different output levels with one knob. Understanding that once a certain volume is reach on one that the overall volume will not increase any further.

Thanks for the reply. Thats is not what I thought about the GCP, are far as the inputs for the pedals go. I am just wondering if I should be patient and continue looking and waiting for an all inclusive midi controller???

Hey Cameron, what do you mean by "with switch" on the mission pedal? I was looking into that one because I also have a ground control pro. By the way how difficult was it to set the GCP up. I haven't gotten that far yet. Still trying to figure the KPA out. What set up procedures did you use? Is there something I could use to help with the set up?

Robrecht, thats make perfect sense now. Why didn't they just explain it like that. Thanks for the break down into smile terms I can understand. I finally got it

Hell-G, thanks for the reply. Yeah I have the powered version and yes I did plug into the red jacket on the back of the profiler (speaker output). I was under the impression that the Master volume was the one that should control the overall volume and not the Monitor Volume. Thanks for the clarification on this.

Please help me sort this out. I feel that I am close but no cigar.
Ok, I have a speaker cable plugged into the main output going to my 4x12 cab.
I have the monitor cab switch to off.
I have everything unlinked.
However when I turn up the master volume nothing happens, but when I mess wight he monitor output level it really sings.
I guess my question is do I have the speaker cable in the right output or what. I am just trying to get volume out of my cab which I can but inly using the monitor output volume and not he master unless I link them, then it is only turning up them monitor volume.
My run down is this, Main output (master left), Monitor output (master left), Direct output (master right), SPDIF (don't use it), main volume (doesn't matter), Monitor volume (this is the one that controls everything), direct volume (0), Headphone (0), SPDIF volume (0), Aux in (0), Aux in headphone (0), Headspace (0)
Those are the setting…am I missing something.

After reading this is makes perfect sense. Now I need to go and try this. Thanks Quitty for breaking it down.

I understand the time factor, I was just added my two cents. It would take me a year just to connect two wires together…lol I wish that someone would come out and say hey, we are in the process of designing one, here are the features…relax. But again I understand the marketing stratagy and the need for in-depth research, development and testing. So, I will jet sit back relax and play on……

Let me add if they are going to make one it sure would be nice that it could be powered through a midi cable allowing for less wires. Just saying if your going to do it….do it right!!!

Well, after more searching and reading….which I thought I did earlier I found the issue.
So, I pressed and held the lock button and rechecked it. And guess what…it worked. I thought I did that before and maybe I did but it worked this time. Sorry for the knee jerk reaction but after three or four hours of trying to figure this out I was looking for guidance. But persistence payed off.

I would like to see an editor and a dedicated foot control. Those two items would make this a complete set-up!!!!

Ok, so I finally thought I was getting somewhere and learning how to use the KPA. I got me a couple rigs set up in the performance mode and switching just fine.
However, I cannot seem to get the delay and reverb working. I have read the manual and search the web and threads and have found nothing that has helped.
I have reset the system, rebooted, checked all of the parameters within in the delay and reverb but still nothing. I have tried every setting within the master output and all others for that matter and nothing.
Can anyone please help me getting these FX's to work.
Thanks in advance,
Mojo
