I have the answer: NO. When I put the stick in my computer it says that the stick needs to be formmatted! No data! Rig manager MYPROFILER is empty. So this is usesless. Putting the stick again in the KPA I get the message: The stick needs to be formatted. Everything oin the stick wil be lost. So I'm back from where I started.
The reference manual doesn't tell you that...

OK. This works. Rig manager is busy to import all of my rigs in My Profiler.Question: If I shut down my KPA when importing is done, would the rigs being kept saved in My Profiler as a total back up?

Creating Backups
We recommend that you backup your Rigs, Presets, Performances, and settings on a regular basis. To do so, please plug the prepared USB stick into your Profiler, switch into Browse or Performance Mode, hit soft button “External Storage” and chose the “Backup/Restore” option. The backup archive will contain all your Rigs, Performances, Module and Section Presets, MIDI assignments, Snapshots, and global settings. If an older backup is already present on your USB stick, it will not be deleted. Each backup archive gets its unique name. To backup, select the soft button “Backup” and wait until you're notified that the backup has been completed. This procedure can take several minutes. Never remove the USB stick until you're prompted to do so. All successful backups can be found inside a folder called “Backups” on your USB stick.

But it doesn't explain further! When I put a formatted USB in the rear then I can see on the display the lit knob USB PLUGGED. Pressing that knob shows a menu: CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS. OK, I want to choose for option one: backup/restore for complete content and settings.
BUT WHERE TO CHOOSE??? That isn't explained! Only the EXIT and UNDO knobs are lit....

My Powerhead still sounds great but I really miss the wide stereo option with two small cabinets. So I think I'm going for a non powered rack version with an all valve amp. So stereo on stage and stereo FOH.I But I never made a back up sofar of all my rigs. Until now I chose a rig from rig manager, hit ENTER on my keyboard and the rig appeared in the Kemper's display. But now for the other way around...! I would like an exact copy of all my rigs for storing them in my computer or rig manager (?). I can't find the right page on Wikpa how to do that. Can anyone show my the way how this works and what I need?

Yes, but it got clearer when I saw your answers to a topic from April 30. You mentioned there your real concrete signal chain: guitar >> Trio+ input >> Trio send >> Kemper input >> Kemper monitor output (could as well be the main out) >> Trio+ return >> Trio + mixer output >> Atomic CLR.
This works.

And, as for my mixer: happily I saw your answer to a question if this signal chain allows for stereo output into a mixer and then in 2 studio monitors. (happily because I have the same construction!)
Your answer: Yes, but in this case you'd use the headphone out of the Trio+ (you'd need an adapter from mini-TRS to 2 TS).

Thanks Ingolf. But what is a side signal and where do I have to feed that to the TRIO+? Why should I analyze what I play? What is the signal chain to be unaltered. (sorry for my questions but these specific English terms I don't understand)

I've read all contributions to set up the TRIO PLUS with the Kemper but I can't follow all different ways of connecting. I own a TRIO since yesterday and would like to get get best possible sound.
- I have a 22-channel mixer, connected to 2 KRK studio monitors
- Then I have a Powerhead
- I have 2 QSC K8 PA cabinets
and now a TRIO PLUS.
I noticed that the standard connections on the TRIO PLUS sheet not cover the specific connection possibilities on the Kemper. So what is the best possible way to use the TRIO PLUS with the Kemper with my stuff ( my cabinets and mixer) so that it's also possible to play live as well as record everything on computer with my Adobe Audition recording software which is directly connected to my mixer with a USB cable.

I played a lot with reverb and delay and clean amp types but never succeeded in coming really close. It seems you need some expensive extra like a Strymon DIG or a Strymon BRIGADIER

It's very simple. But don't listen to your guitar because you'll hear standard tuning and from you cabinet you'll hear the detuned sound. Can be confusing.But it's great for transposing in the wink of an eye...! And every tone in playing chords stays in tune!

I often use 2 active QSC K8 speakers with my Powerhead. Sound great, for rehearsing at home as well as for monitoring or doing small gigs

So my point was: can you only play stereo when you use an external power stereo amp in conjunction with a non powered Kemper? In other words: not possible with my Powerhead?

I've read about the idea behind the choice for mono. But I 've heard so much better wide spreading sounds coming in stereo in demo's on live stage from specialists with such a setup and a PA-system Awesome sounds. But they used just the profiling amp with a stereo all valve amp and two mono cabinets and not the powered version that I have. So my wrong choice in means of versatility...?

I have a powerhead so it's not possible to play stereo because I only can connect one cable from my 4x12 stereo cab to this mono monitor output. But what if I still want to play with two 1 speaker cabinets and thus take benefit of the stereo possibilties on stage as well as through a PA? (and not hurt my back with my massive 4x12)

I have been thinking of getting me a second good stereo valve amp and connecting the two main outs of the Powerhead to two speaker inputs on this stereo valve amp and go from here to two main inputs on the PA-mixing console

I guess it's a bit overkill to have a Powerhead and still want to have a stereo poweramp but I hear a lot of complaints why Kemper didn't provide two speaker monitor outputs in the first place to take full advantage of the stereo capabilities of the Kemper.
