I have the original Kemper bag. It works fine, cheaper than that Porta. I see most places sell the Kemeper bag for $133, even B&H
Curious why you went that one?

also try formatting the USB stick.
They day I finally plugged my laptop into my Kemper and used Rig Manager, a light bulb went on!
It was very much a Game changing experience.
I have an older Apolllo. it works fine, no issues I don't have thunderbolt
Keep Rockin Buddy!! Great story.
Drummers need to have their drinks taken away anyways.
Old Rig: 1966 Vibrolux, Analogman King of Tone, Klon, Wha, sometimes a Delay.
I kept my 66 Blackface Deluxe Reverb and a 70's Supro
Basically it comes down to cost.
I own the powered version, It cost more but I have the luxury of using passive or active speakers.
My last gig, I ran into my passive Martix cab and ran a line out to a DI into the front of house. The sound guys were impressed and a couple other guys performing loved my set up and tone.
I agree with Ingolf, in the long run studio monitors.
Right now, you have been given free equipment. Why not tweak your profiles to sound good to you, save those profiles only to use with your current set up?
On a side note: back in the day, one of the most popular studio monitors were Yamaha NS10's. You saw them in every studio that was worth anything.
According to professional engineers I spoke to, these were not there because they sounded good. They were used because if you could mix into them and get them to sound good, your session would sound good on any stereo, AM radio, etc.
I haven't upgraded to 4.2 beta yet. I've played a few shows with no issues, I'm also considering a power conditioner but have not seen any issues. If I was playing an outdoor gig where sometimes the power is very unstable I would definitely use some sort of power conditioner.
My my experience with the Kemper live has been very stable.
Congrats!
Kemper with the Kemper remote is the ultimate pairing. I have one EP1 KP and havent felt the need for another, but I have simple uses
Could you let us know your setup?
Is that a powered Kemper? what type of cab?
Thank for sharing the video. Nice playing!
It's the unspoken language of buying and selling used.
"If I own it, it ain't worth sh*t!"
"If you own it, it's worth all the money in the world"
When I buy something or sell something used, I'm expecting its value to be 50% of a new item, unless it's rare/vintage. if something is included it doesn't add any value to me, it may make my decision to buy that item slightly appealing but it won't raise the price I'm going to pay.
if I buy a guitar and it has a nicer case, I don't think I would pay more because of the case for example
I was using both TRS connections and would switch the wah off and on, but realized I didn't need to. I really like the automatic touch on/off setting of the wah function. So you don't need the 2nd cable.
i was playing a gig, small stage and was set up near the drummers kick drum. I soon realized the vibrations from his drum pedal were turning my wah on.
Its good to have the 2nd cable handy just in case.
Hope everything works out.
I had some difficulty but managed to keep my Kemper, got rid of the wife though
add me to the old folks club! just turned 49
I've always thought that pure cab is/was global.
i use it and think it makes the output sound warmer and natural as long as you don't go overboard, a little goes a long way
Whoa, I hate it, no I like it, nah I really hate it, ehhh I guess I like it
cool to see the Kemper rocking Colbert!
I have a Powered Toaster using a FRFR cab no issues. Also check that you are using a speaker cable instead of instrument cable when connecting your Orange cab.
PS: also try out an FRFR cab, I think the powered version seems to open up a new pallet of tones when you arent using a guitar cab.
