My KPA arrives today, so I'll register the serial and join the owner's forum soon. I've been following amp modelers and the Kemper profiler for several years and have tried a few modelers that didn't impress me. I've become convinced of the staying power and capability of Kemper, so I purchased one blind since there is no shop in the area who carries one. I have a number of tube amps and would love to thin the ranks and am hopeful that the KPA will allow me to do so.

Were your first impressions not positive? From what I've read, it's going to take some time to master and my first attempts to profile amps may not be the best. I can accept the learning curve.

My first impressions were off the scale WOW!! Hence the long time playing rather than writing about playing

Thank you! That will be very helpful. I've watched quite a few videos and am familiar with the basic concepts, but not the specifics that are outlined in your link.

For some reason, the UPS site showed it as out for delivery this morning. Not it's showing the delivery scheduled for tomorrow. The gods are teasing me.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the tips. I received my KPA today and hooked it up with my RAMSA WP1200 power amp and an FRFR cab I built for my keyboards. It's ported. with a bass driver, mid driver, and horn. All the parts are from Eminence including the 3-way crossover. I'm very impressed so far and having been playing with presets. I'll dig deeper over time. See ya'll "down below" in the owner's section.
