This is definitely an area that the AXE FX has a leg up. Kind of disappointing that it has taken this long to come out with a foot controller...
The Kemper Foot Controller: Evolution

I hope Kemper foot controller will be as good as the Axe FX MFC-101 Mark 3. While still an Axe noob I tend to prefer the Kemper tones,I really love how functional and solid the Axe controller is.Especially the FASLINK which uses hardy and readily available XLR cable for power and data.
Woah, I hope they don't come out with something that size!
Cheers,

Too much flak? I don't think so. A PROPER foot controller is very crucial for lots of people, especially pro touring musicians.
The FCB is an OK option temporary solution, but we need a dedicated foot controller..... no question.
I bet KPA sales go up once it comes out..... as that seems to be what is holding lots of potential buyers back.An expensive, high end unit like the KPA should have had a foot controller released the same time the KPA was released. It only makes sense....
IMO
I don't see how the FCB isn't a "proper" foot controller. A footcontroller is not an integral part of the KPA, especially in a studio setting, but if you need to use it live, then there are plenty of third party solutions available. I'll note all the points made by others about the MFC Controller for the Axe FX only coming out after 4 years.

I find the FCB 1010 with Eureka Pro 2 chip a capable & versatile adjunct to the Kemper. I will continue using it even when the Kemper Foot Controller is available.

They should to engage some ingineers at Kemper factory. Is'n it ?!

Time for a facepalm smiley.
If it was meant as a joke: Good one. -
Yeah. I too believe having engineers @ Kemper Headquarters would cause troubles.

Really love the look of both designs (page 1) But I think design 1 would be ideal! Either way, im sure whatever you guys put out will be great!
-
I prefer the larger one. And please make it with bright LED's that can be seen in broad daylight. I use the Behringer now, and the LED's are invisible if its daylight = useless...

There should be instant access to all eight IA slots!
There is not really a need for a tuner button. Turning down to volume pedal is fair enough. And I would really love displays over the buttons like e.g. the mastermind GT has. So you can see which effect is available.

I stumbled upon some renderings i made a few months ago. Unfortunately i havent got the source file anymore so i cannot make any changes.
But i wanted to share them with you.
So here they are:

There are some more but i think that this is enough to explain some wishes i had.
1. The display should be movable, so that you put it in a position that fits your needs.
2. The buttons have a multicolored led ring around them so you can see the effect type and maybe the distortion grade. (Green to yellow to red.. or so)
3. A switch which makes the pedal either wah or volume (if both is needed. even if the pedal is not part of the controller i like the idea of switching the mode)
4. Some assignable buttons would be nice. It should be possible to assign any function to these buttons. Thats why i left the TAP button.
5. A mute Button would be nice IMHO (Could be assignable) Especially when the pedal is optional.Maybe we will get some official information from the kemper guys the next time.

Hi!
I really love my old Roland FC-200 because of the 10 presets I can choose with one step!
But I'm missing a second Exp-Pedal and a lot more than one (stomp-)controll-switch. The programming with the number-display is not state of the art.
The Roland FC-300 has a better midi-Management, but just 5 presets to choose with one step.To get ahead the wellknown solutions from LINE6 eg. I would like a Kemper-FS with two rows of five preset-switches (1-10) and above another row of (stomp-)controll-switches plus two exp-pedals (Wah/ Vol+Tuner).

I can't think of the racket arising when the pedalboard shows with no pedal...

Yes, 40% will praise it for having no pedals, 40% will condemn it for the same reason, 20% will be indifferent.
-
How about a centered pedal? this will optimize movements of the leg and will better organize the switch position, i.e. fx on left, performances on right, or something similar.
-
No pedals onboard, this is the last news we got drom Mothership

Not sure where the term "pedalboard" is coming from....
