Thanks dmatthews ! I tried it in PP, maybe I didn't experiment enough with it.
Let us know how you make out!

dmatthews this is becaouse parallel path is constructed with A+B and the rest is the second path.
Thanks for the confirmation Damian. I appreciate it.
Things I have noticed/learned...
If you want to use parallel path to morph from acoustic to electric, put the AS in slot B. Putting it in slot C or D seems to make the parallel path mix control work backwards.
Bumping up the parallel mix, mixes in the amp choice along with any post stack effects such as delay/reverb.
prsgary If you have no need or desire to parallel path/mix/morph then the best place for the AS is in slot X (first one after the amp/cab stack). Make sure parallel path is off, otherwise you'll just hear the amp, not the AS. This position is best for stereo applications IMHO.
Use Rig volume to bring the AS volume up to other rigs in a performance. Add a Pure Booster as well if you need to.
So far that's it for my discoveries.
Looks like it now hauled in a new Kaos this morning!
7.5.1.18252
I got it. It's supposed to have improved syncing, but I reported an issue in that regard where the current rig was shown twice in RM, but at least one other rig wasn't shown.
Interesting, thanks!
My RM updated to 3.0.130.16331 but I don't see it mentioned anywhere.
Anyone else get it, or have change logs?
Hmmm
I know, right?
Is this with magnetic pickups or are you running a piezo through the AS? I tried a piezo through it and it sounded like my speakers were screaming for mercy Before Christoph gives me row - I know it's not meant to be used that way but I was just curious
Have tried P22 mag (5708), 594 (5815), Mira (245), and Silver Sky with above results. Turn Kone off and it's fine.
I get variable results. Some profiles I get the hiss you describe, others I don't. I don't think its a Kone thing as a I use a Kabinet.
Try the Morgan profile, switch stack off and effects or other profiles as a base...no acoustic profiles as they often have treatment on them. It seems hyper sensitive to settings hence you need to play around a bit.
Hope that helps...
The hiss is one thing, but the worst of it is that an expressive/strong strum results in a high frequency, sharp, harsh, farty distorted sound. This only happens with Kone on for me.
Nicely done gents!
I guess I should open a ticket. The noise I get with the Kone enabled makes the AS unusable for me.
in what way is it different?
Using Kone, create a new profile, add AS to any slot, amp/cab off, I get:
a) Hiss when I pluck a string (not seriously loud mind you)
b) If I strike strings heavily the audio craps out, sort of a distorted noise which is as loud as the expected profile volume. If I play quietly it sounds as expected.
I'll have to try again tonight after work but I think it sounded better/OK with the Kone off. Same thing running my Monitor out to my L-12 board and Yamaha monitors.
Tried "Init Globals" as well, to no avail.
Display MoreI finally managed to make a short video demonstrating the Acoustic Sim to test whether it does add noise to the signal. I had lots of issues with my screen capture software trying to capture audio from the DAW plus a mic but finally managed something usable. I also had some issues trying to record the video due to my own stupidity (probably shouldn't have tried to make the video after a few large glasses of vino colapso
Anyway jon9max does this sound different from your experience?

Youtube says it will be nearly 2 hours before the link has uploaded but I'm off to bed now.
Thanks for that Alan.
I'll try some more, but it seems odd that I am unable to recreate what you've done so far.
ckemper are you saying that it’s pickup specific? I definitely don’t get any hiss with my PRS. I definitely find the PRS piezo far superior to the acoustic sim sound wise but I don’t get any hiss.
What do you use for your piezo settings mate?
I can't get Rig Manager to install the update. It downloads fine, but errors out. See attached. Ticket opened with support, I suppose I may try the USB route.
Maybe reboot the Kemper and try again. Has worked for me in the past.
Works for me on both my Surface Pro screen, and my 32" second monitor.
I get hiss as well.
Amp off, cab off, no other effects.
lightly pluck low E and you hear it, quite noticeably.
Anyway, your acoustic simulating variax should sound good on its own, and maybe should produce better acoustic sounds than our acoustic simulator with an e-guitar, as the circumstances are more beneficial.
How is the Variax sound?
Do you feel the same way about piezo equipped guitars like a PRS P22 etc?
P90's sound great too.
