Expression pedal compatibility/recommendations

I have a FC7 and I love it. Wide sweep, heavy duty construction, and even the price is good too! I have just one, for volume, wah and FX, works really fine.

+1 for the FC7. It does have a wide sweep which gives good control for vol swells, and it has this nifty little bracket that you can use to adjust whether the toe down pedal position is flat (good when standing) or slightly tilted back (good when sitting). Love it.

FV500H is great. It's quite big though.

Another +1 for Mission Engineering. I picked up a couple of their generic pedals, one with the spring-loaded option so it's just like my Crybaby, and they're damn fine.

Also, I think I read somewhere that Line 6's expression pedals are wired differently, and won't work with non-Line 6 stuff out of the box.

Bought the newer Ep1 form pro guitar shop with there 15% off coupon. Half the shipping cost of competitors.

Luckily for me in Australia there are no import or taxes with overseas purchases under $1000 in value though.

Well, that's a good question. I'm not still using it live. When I bought it I had the idea of having sooner or later, (sooner I hope!:)) the Kemper Foot Controller... That's going to be easy to set it up on stage.
Meanwhile, I guess you have a few options, like keeping your KPA close enough, or maybe having one of this extensions, I don't know if it going to work though, I guess yes, but please check before pulling the trigger

I own the Boss FV-500H (good quality), the Korg EXP2 (the worst pedal I ever had) and the Korg XVP-10 (the one I like most).

I use two Ernie Balls.

My fav is Dunlop DVP-X. I own 2 of them

This is what I use live with an FC7 (and with an EV5 also). 1/4 inch TRS female to 1/4 TRS male. Works great. When the Kemper footcontroller arrives the attached length will be more than enough.

I know, right? I figure the more throw, the easier it is to control precisely. I've been using mine for vol swells (great for Brothers in Arms). Love it.
