I want a second one, too. Hopefully Santa is a member to this board.
-
Just so I understand it: Who needs 2 and why?
-
There is a trend for having a second Profiler . Not having to unplug all the connections when taking the Profiler to rehearsal. Beeing able to take profiles of profiles. Last not least: the right colour for a given environment. In my case: a white toaster on my desk, a black PowerHead for rehearsing and playing live with my Death Metal Combo .
-
Apparently, the "in order to profile my pedal and using it along with any other rig" and the "running two rigs in parallel" were missing... so I'm just adding them here
-
Sometimes I'm jonesin' for a powerhead but owning two CLR's I have been able to talk myself out of this, yet.
-
Think harder Ingolf, there MUST be a NEED for the second unit with amp.

I want a white one to get more vintage sound, as opposed to my black one, which is obviously more metal sounding.
To op, yes, go buy it! -
I think you could spend your money on something else that's more satisfying as a musician. Like pick up a bass guitar, or an electronic drumset. Learn something new and keep it interesting. More skills = moar phun.

Hehe, drumkit next then. Or oooh, recording interface.
I know the feeling though. I have a guitar, bass, drums. And after every purchase I tell myself, "That's the last one". Then one month later I'm acquiring more gear.
It's called GAS (gear acquisition syndrome), Ingolf. One must create new avenues for it to be assuaged

Hehe, I know G.A.S....
But I try not to drift away from guitar and improving my skills there...
So electronic drums is out of the question, also my drummer has one already...
It's a dilemma... -
This was only an answer for new customer in this section 'Question an answers about Kemper Profiler'.
Shall I buy a KPA for Christmas?
Answer: Yes!I have no intention to buy a second one .... or wait
-
I want a power head in theory (don't play live much) But I don't want to lose my KPA for any amount of time for it.
For net $600 from Kemper, I thought of the Camplifier, but if I'm going to drop $600, why not $1000 for a powered CLR? Maybe if it was $400 for 180w that'd be a different point. Or a more local distributor. The U.S. is a large place.
I'm leaning powered monitor FRFR anyways.
I think I'd rather play through an FRFR and have my headphones sound be true out my monitor, than the "I don't know what" of any old cabinet that might be available with V30 or T75 or God-Knows-What tone changes to my original tone. Interesting sounds perhaps, but I want to hear the Kemper unadulterated.
Well, at least Santa gives me choices!
