Hello everyone. I first bought a Kemper way back in Jan. 2012. It was a great unit at the time but I ended up returning it because I needed the money for other stuff. Fast forward to today and I am now the proud owner of a rack unit! I'm astounded by the amount of killer sounding profiles available for the KPA these days. With my first KPA, while there were some great profiles out at the time, it was still very new and I think most people hadn't perfected the profiling process like it seems they have now.
So far my favorite thing is the headphone space option. I play a lot with headphones and over the years I've struggled with many different solutions to get a good headphone sound. You name it, and I've tried it. digital modelers, amp heads hooked to a loadbox using impulses in DAW, VST ampsims, the list goes on. For the first time ever, with this headphone space feature, I'm finally getting a sound I absolutely love that doesn't fatigue my ears like all the other methods did.
anyway, enough rambling. back to playing!
