Hang on grego, you used to have an unpowered Kemper Rack, didn't you?
Also, the cab no longer has the white edging / seal around the cloth, looks wider and lower, and doesn't have casters, so I assume it's new too?

Uh, yeah. Guilty as charged. This is (I think) my 5th Kemper. I had a rack, a power rack and 2 other non-powered heads before this. I keep selling them to try other things (tried the Helix, FX8 through my amp, Mesa Marx V, etc.). But nothing beats the Kemper for simplicity, variety, ease of recording and just overall amazing sounds, IMHO. I also liked the Power Station with the KPA compared to the powered rack that I had and I can use the PS with my lower wattage amps so it does more than just one thing. The cabinet is a Mather 1x12 with a recessed top handle and an Eminence Delta Pro 12A speaker. I still have the 212 Avatar that you mentioned but the Mather cab never leaves this room.
Funnily enough, I still take my Carr Skylark combo and small pedalboard when I play outside of the house, but the Kemper is my ideal amp for playing at home. Out of all the ones I've had though, this one's giving me a little trouble in that sometimes the chicken head power knob seems a little wonky (stays on tuner when I turn it to off, or stays in Browser mode when I try to use the tuner - only sometimes) and when I use the browse knob, I don't see any other profiles unless I re-load "All" or "Current Author". Just been too lazy to start a ticket, I guess...
-
Crumpets, 5 Kempers? Yikes! Thank you for sharing that, Grego.
Have you tried resetting the unit in trying to solve the browse-knob issue?
-
Thanks MM. I have not tried that yet.
I finally got the Kemper hooked up with my desktop using a Focusrite Scarlett and recorded some with it yesterday:

love these pics, keem em coming
-
come on folks, any more ?
-
Hey, ya gotta give 'em longer than 29 mins to comply, Chopper!
-
We could have a repeat series, like on the soaps. What about "neighbours"?
Everybody loves 'em - don't they MM? (wid extra Cheese 4 da Monkey)

Well, some of the rigs are worth a second look IMHO Freisegler.

Down here in Jungleville, when I go to the Macca's drive-thru, they ask me, "Would you like bananas with that?". No cheese as it's jungle critters only in these parts.Oh... I see... you're joking, right? Silly me.
Yes, a repeat-rig pooformance is the only solution for those who's patience is tested after 29 minutes. Poor Chopper must be beside himself by now. I'll bet he'd be willing to pay a hefty subscription to view the repeats.
Seriously 'though, 55 pages of rig pictures is a lot I reckon; it makes sense that the influx of new material would slow down eventually. Thankfully many folks' rigs undergo refinements and overhauls, so in theory we'll run out of popcorn well before the shows cease to run...
-
Totally agree on that one mate! You'd need so much melted cheese for the repeat series even McFondle wouldn't be able to deliver. Best stick to bananas... No hard feelings matey...
