Youd only want that for reamping, not tracking.
When you're reamping you want to make sure you only send the di track to the left spdif out, and make sure in your interface software you are not direct routing spdif input to spdif out. Sometimes thats the default option
Once you set the input to spdif reamp, there should be a reamp sense parameter used to adjust the gain level globally, like distortion sense.
What is reamp in set to on the new audio track? If the kpa output is reamp, then one side of the stereo spdif signal is direct guitar (for ov er dubbing or tracking di's on the fly), and the other should be the wet reamped signal.
EDIT: I mean the kpa input setting. when tracking DI's, it's best to use Git/Mod (or vice versa), then you have to switch it to reamp spdif. In reamp spdif mode, the front guitar input is routed directly into spdif R (or maybe L - not at the comp at the moment), while the wet reamped tone is routed to spdif L (or R).
if you can hear it being reamped in the headphones, it is just a matter of checking the kpa output settings for spdif, and making sure the signal is reaching the interface, then making sure the daw is receiving it. does your interface display signal levels? that will tell u if and on what field of the stereo signal the spdif is hitting.
for recording di's, you use git/mod on your kpa output for spdif. then for stereo reamping you need to change this back to master. but if youre just tracking mono then its easiest to leave it as git/mod.

There is no input bus called reamp, only profiler...but the input of your track is called reamp...maybe thats it
I see "imput=reamp" for the track 5...
It must be "profiler spdif left" (i think)

In the first picture, you have set the output to reamp and the input to profiler. What this is doing is that the signal that is being output is being sent back into the DAW after being reamped, then repeated ad infinitum. This is a sort of feedback loop, which is why you're hearing those distorted sounds. Change the input to something else while you are reamping, only activate it as profiler left when you are recording.
To make things simple
D.I Input =? D.I Output =?
Reamp Input=? Reamp Output =?
You have to change them when doing each stage.
When recording DI:
Input = SPDIF Output = Master
When reamping
Input = Anything Else Output = SPDIF
And on the recording track
Input = SPDIF Output = Master
In cubase
Di
Output : spdif out (left)
Reamp track
Input: spdif in (left or left and right)
Output : stéréo (or stéréo left)
