I was noticing within the Wah parameters that you could choose where the Wah would be placed in the signal chain. Does this mean you could place the Wah in slot X and still have it function as though it was at the front of the chain? Just curious as I would like to free some spots in the stomps section.
Wah Placement

If you place the wah in Slot X, it will be after the amplifier section, and it is not likely to sound like a traditional guitar wah pedal.
Although it won't sound like a regular wah, you may find it to be a musically useful pedal controlled bandpass filter

Distortion works well ahead of wahs too. You could use it for some really scorching wah tones this way, so don't be afraid to experiment with placement.

I have my wah in stomp A, but it's always good to experiment too. Ya never know what you might find and like

are you sure?

For the more traditional wah sound ie wah before amp distortion a good trick to try if you use a boost like Green Scream is to try the wah before this boost and after but before the amplifier, gives a slight variation in tones. I'm sure Steve Vai has been known to run two wahs like this live for the option.

I have the Wah located in slot B just after the gate and before the overdrive. Sounds great and it will stay there, unless by using the location choices within it I can move it and still keep at the front of the chain.
Just really interested to know if that is what Kemper was implying when they made those options available.

Don, I will double check where I saw this option. It could have been in the system menu or rig menu. Will let you know soon.

maybe you saw the 'Volume Pedal Settings' Location options and confused them with Wah? (Rig Settings, Page 3/5)
