Yep, and will likely be the same with the remote. It will have to start looking really bad, or be distorting my view before it comes off ...
-
Same here... But for the remote i´m thinking about cutting some protection film for cellphones in the right size
Never play unprotected!
-
Same here I have it still on on both my KPA's and the remote. I'm a bit stupid when it comes to things like that
-
Not me:
As soon as I knew
the Kemper was a Keeper
I peeled off the plastic
and auctioned all
my Roland Stuff
to pay the toaster off -
3 years with mine... And still have the screen film on it!
-
Everything must be removed immediately or I have to stamp my foot and count to 10 at least 20 times......
-
First thing I did after Kemper was out of the box, remove film.
-
I got my KPA secondhand so I didn't get to experience the pleasure of defilming it, but it was one of the first things I did when the Remote arrived (first post, last picture).
-
3 years. Just removed the film last week. Much easier to read the display, I might add. I did save the film though, call me sentimental.
-
Yep, take the film off, you'll get a better tone

Agreed - it adds transparency!

I'd be so mad if I removed the film and the LCD did NOT look better
I was wondering if some keep it in case of resale, or to psychologically have that "new gear" feeling, or are just lazy.
But it seem most just feel it's a part of the thing, who keep it on. Others yank it cause they aren't sentimental about such things.
I wonder if there's a connection between keeping it on and being messy or a horder?

No, I can assure you there is no connection
-
My eyes are shot, so I left the film on. (joking) LOL
I play by "feel" anyway
-
I leave mine on to protect the display.

I wonder if there's a connection between keeping it on and being messy or a horder?Well, being both lazy/messy/hoarder and impulsive (yes, it's entirely possible in its own freakish way), I ripped the plastic right off when I got the Kemper (and yes, I also sniffed the plastic ) but I also replaced it a few months afterwards when the Kemper took it's first roadtrip to a buddy's house. I just used an ipad screen protector (cut to size), the cheap kind from China. I just love my baby too much to let something scratch up that pretty display...

Same here
I am sorry but you are just wrong
If I see your KPA I will need to be restrained or put in boxing gloves !!!!!
