Hi guys,
Yesterday I was turning on my KPA and found out I only had 6 rigs in my KPA. Well I don't need more. With these 6 rigs, I can play all what I want. Perhaps I could add the Gundy Keller Gilmour, a country profile and an acoustic one.
Here is a pic. What about you, how many profiles do you have or can I have the Guinness record in the category, "the guy who uses the less profiles in a KPA" ??
By natural selection, I ended up keeping my own IIC+ clean profile, and 5 rigs which use the same stack profile from Thumas : the Mesa TSM M7 (I finetuned the amp, eq and cab parameters).
As usual my dirty rigs only vary with gain amount and delay settings. However, each rig is built as a swiss knife.
Slot A : transpose to simulate a 7 string guitar (B tuning)
Slot B : Harmonizer
Slot C : Wha - is activated when I touch the expression pedal
Slot D : pure booster set at -1.7 to lower the drive amount of the rig, like turning down the guitar volume pot
Slot X : a chorus (everyone needs a chorus sometimes )
Slot MOD : Pure Booster set at +1.4 to cut through the mix during leads
Delay : Stereo delay
Reverb : I never use reverbs (except for a very exagerated effect), as I use space effect at 3.5
Incredible profile. I pasted the stack of this profile straight in my own previous profiles (Too lazy to redo my rigs from scratch). I never sounded so good and organic... amazing
I also noticed that the rig switching is now very fast and natural, congrats CK team !
