A question to the beta testers: I have always used an EQ to "Tame" those harsh highs, and I know many guitarists do the same. Do you recommend removing the EQ when using Pure cab?

Just use your ears, I find the highs 'sweetened' (in lack of a better word) with PureCab.

So does this mean that the sound we now send to FOH through the KPA main outs are now changed also?
If that's the case, are we now losing the "mic'd" cab sound to FOH if we use this on our FRFR monitor...or is it selectable?

What did you mean by the " total mess"? You can always get back to the 3.02(or not if the performances was converted?).
I just A/B'd with Pure Cab and it blew me away. You can actually hear the tone of the mic going away and the cab coming back, right in your face, wow. Only problem is now everybody who couldn't get used to the FOH sound will go Kemper lol. Gratz CK and the gang, this update is awesome.

Do you have Pure Cabinet option on or off in output menu?

Check your Output Settings - perhaps the Cabinet is turned off.
Unfortunately I think to use Pure Cab it appears we will have to do some tweaking. Mine was the opposite, It muddied up my sounds but once I added treble and presence to my rigs and it sounded great. I completely change a rig I use for country tones with compression, it sounded dull and lifeless. Finding out all the things I've done to tame the mic'd sounds now that they are gone.

Although I'm a very happy owner of the Profiler (actually owning 2 units and getting ready for the 3rd one), I think I'm known here as being very critical sometimes. I tend to ignore marketing blah or avoid automatic sound improvment miracles.
But this time I'm very very positive about the new Pure Cabinet feature. With my 2 favourite amps (profiles) it's almost unbelievable how it adds this extra bite yet avoiding the top end harshness. Great great feature!!!! Will try a lot more profiles from clean to high-gain using this setting. Let's see how it works across the line. So far it's mind-blowing, really.
