It's crap. I recommend to wait. Big bug: When using and setting up a performance all of a sudden some of the rigs don't have speaker emulation anymore. All work is dumped. RigManager also has strange behavior. Slows down and seems to stop working for a while.
So - better forget it and wait for another one. I will uninstall the new version and go back to the previous one. Hope I don't get new problems now.
Bug in 3.1.1 regarding performance mode - am I the only one?

As you seem to be the first reporting problems like this you should definitely contact support.
And no work ever is dumped if you follow the good practice to ALWAYS DO A BACKUP before updating. -
I don't know that anyone else has reported these issues - I suggest opening a support ticket, and sending them a backup.

You should stay away unless you are prepared for and have time to resolve potential problems. The point of a beta release is to get more people testing before the final release, but it is not for everyone. This time around it seems a more like an alpha than a beta release to me. Some new features in 3.1.x are not even complete yet. -
3.1.1 will not work with Browse mode if you use a midi controller.

The Installation Notes include a warning that Performances created in 3.1x are not compatible with earlier OS versions.
