ok ok got you all
I'll go for a moog
cheers
I have a dunlop volume XL. It has an expression pedal jack, but if I use that with the Kemper wouldn't it still have an audio taper as opposed to the flat taper of a standard expression pedal? I've never tried it with kemper, as I'm still using my FCB1010 and don't want to screw anything up. The FCB volume functions more like a glorified on off switch than any kind of smooth swell.

Good question! Is the logarithmic taper only active on the volume output? And a linear one on the expression output? Don't know but your pedal look very similar to my DVP-3 which works like a charm as an expression pedal with my KPA.
+1 for the EB25K
I will get the Moog today, I really look forward to use it

Definitely looking forward to the DVP-4. I have a tiny space in my rack lid where my remote lives that I'm hoping it'll fit into!
Any old wah pedal from Ebay (it doesn't even have to work). Fit a 10k pot and you're good to go! You can even fit a toeswitch too (I did)
Wiring it is a breeze and it looks great!
Here is another cheap one with great reviews, considering this atm:
Got it. Realy small but works very good. Thanks for the tip.
FYI, if you are in the U.S., I found the Moog EP-3 for $36.00 with free shipping:

Just got one. Thanks for the heads up.
Did you ever get yours? Even though they said they had a couple in stock mine has been backordered with no word on when its supposed to come in. I may cancel and order from someone else if I don't hear from them soon...
Just found out they are BO. That is BS.lol I sent 2 emails before they answered. Won't be ordering from there again.
When I ordered they had 2 in stock. I guess I'll wait it out. Can't go wrong for $24 bucks
4/11 they said
I agree. Not sure I will wait until 4/11 - I think it will depend on when Kemper 4.0 is released...
I bought a Mission EP1 pedal. It has a switch with which you can toggle between volume and wah function. It is really nice but has one dwonside: When you use it as a volume pedal and switch rigs, the volume will be at max. Even if you have your pedal in th down position.
Are there pedals available that can act as a wah and as a volume pedal and that wil remember the volume setting while switching rigs??
I'm still new to the Kemper rig... I recently purchased the compatible Mission Expression Pedal, but was not happy with it.
First, the pedal seemed to have a rather large dead spot in the throw. I used the calibration feature, but the dead spot remained. So, I decided to exchange the pedal for the Moog EP-3. I don't have it yet, but the feedback on this forum and elsewhere seems promising. It's also a great price.
Second, and this maybe a Kemper thing (or a user error thing) - but the volume pedal functioned at the front of the signal chain. It lowered gain and tone, just like my guitar volume knob. I want the pedal to be at the end of the signal chain. Is this a KPA setting adjustment or is this a KPA default?
Thanks,
Ron
I have the dunlop and the moog. I like them both, but the moog really surprised me.
Dunlop has a longer sweep, so I use it for volume/morph. and the moog has a shorter sweep, which to me feels more like a classic wah.

It's a setting per rig. Press the 'Rig' button and there You can place the pedal where you want it in the signal chain.
I usually have it after the amp, before the FX.
I have 2 Mission pedals. One green, one blue.
I’m keeping my BOSS FV500h on the pedalboard, after pedals, pre Kemper as my main volume pedal.
I grabbed a Boss EV-30 to use for everything else that needs expression in the Kemper. Small footprint and well made heavy duty pedal, same depth size as the Kemper remote.
Is there a quick way to learn parameters to use expression on? Maybe I missed it but I couldn’t see how to select a parameter like delay level and assign it to the pedal.
